Jeff was born and bred in Chillicothe Ohio. The product of two Ohio State graduates, he was wrapped in scarlet and gray swaddling clothes before he left the hospital to protect him from the evil winds emanating from that state up north. Jeff has been attending Buckeye football games for as long as he can remember, and was lucky enough to be in attendance during the 2002 Michigan game that propelled the Buckeyes to the National Championship. As the final whistle blew an old man sitting behind him lit up a cigar, took an enormous puff and whispered “finally” into the autumn air as students were simultaneously being maced with reckless disregard on the field. A guy doesn’t forget something like that. Jeff recently received a Masters degree in Journalism from Northwestern and lives in Chicago. He one day hopes to be the old man sitting behind him at the 2002 Michigan game.
