Prayers and thoughts to Chad and his family right now! I'm so proud to be a Buckeye fan, especially of Coach Matta and his family. There is so much hate out in the world today that a story like this, even though sad, just shows the compassion that we can have for one another trumps everything else.
The only thing is I have heard a rumor about him and possibly the Maryland job. Think it was on the ESPN Champ Drive Podcast. Since he coached at a HS in MD and could stay in the Big Ten.
Channeling their inner Darnell Jefferson possibly? Don't fumble in class boys.
Man, hoping it's not a high ankle sprain. That's the season.
Panthers... Keep Pounding!! Not a huge fan of Newton, but dang Greg Olsen plays with some heart.
I just hope Northwestern continues to win. At least give the West a decent team.
I'd rather see a movie that Rob Riggle is in than Ryan Gosling though. Catalina Wine Mixer... pow, pow, pow.
"We have to make sure we do a great job of identifying the guys that can actually play winning, high-level football here and not just take guys because they put their hand up and want to come to Ohio State,"
Well there goes my shot... I'll just put my hand down now. Didn't think my 10 second 40 yard would get the job done anyways.
I can see Cincinnati, but Connecticut, come on! Just don't see the positive they bring, unless it's basketball or barely losing to Missouri.
Philly just needed to be Philly. Watching the game yesterday, it was sad that Trent Green kept calling Funchess Ginn. Funchess = 17, Ginn = 19. Do your research next time Trent.
I wasn't saying just one mistake. I'm saying that these guys aren't playing to win, they are playing not to make mistakes so they stay in the game.
Men's Golf is at the Inverness Intercollegiate today and tomorrow as well. Other Big Ten teams there are Michigan State, Purdue, and TTUN. Currently they are 5th out of 14 teams.
And of course all SEC fans think it's hilarious. I never ate Pizza Hut. That crap got me sick the one time I ate it.
I trust we will get this ship righted. It's the beginning of the season and obviously the QB situation didn't go as we all thought it would. Good thing is that we have another non-conference game to get ready before the Big Ten games start. I agree with assessments that the qb makes one mistake and knows he is gonna get pulled for the other might be weighing on these guys more than expected. That's why I felt picking one in the very beginning and just riding with them until an injury occurred was the best for cohesion.
Every week I get to see what stupid thing he says next, it's like a holiday.
Great to hear. Keep working. Let's go boys!
Just need to stick with one and roll with it IMO. I know he wants to see what they both can do because obviously were neck and neck in camp, but switching then switching back didn't seem to go well to keep the offense in a rhythm. The VT game was perfect because we had the lead and game in hand and he could put JT in to get some work. Just stick with one.
I'd be cool with that. Or heck, let's just go out and sign T.P. too. The Ohio State bar in Charlotte would be rocking every Sunday too.
Couldn't agree more. I have read both his books and he is just an awesome guy. Think he was trying to do what was best for the kids and so happy this will finally be over soon.
Keep this team motivated ... IO
Gym or watch taped games on my DVR... hmm, tough choice. Biggest battle is just leaving the house.
Agreed. The two quarterbacks worked back in 96-97 cause they were at least close in skill set, somewhat. TB and TP were complete opposites.
I think the dual qb could work here, but I'd much rather him stick with one.
