1. Ohio State- TTUN knocks off MSU this week. We then knock off highly ranked MSU,TTUN, and Northwestern/Iowa to finish off a solid resume

2. Bama- they knock off A&M this week. They knock off LSU because they stack the box and contain Fournette. They beat a Florida team without there starting QB. Not to mention they are the champs of the SEEEEEEEEC need I say more.

3. Baylor- they roll through the Big 12 and the committee will not leave out an undefeated Big 12 team this year.

4. Utah- a one loss Utah team gets ranked 4th after losing to USC but going on the beat UCLA and winning the Pac 12 championship game over stanford

The ACC gets left out because Clemson continues to be Clemson and loses to FSU, byt FSU gets beaten in the ACC championship by Duke, so the ACC is left out in favor of one loss Pac 12 and SEC teams.

OSU over Utah (close but we ultimately pull away and win by a couple touchdowns)

Bama over Baylor (Bama steamrolls them, Baylor much like Oregon last year just isn't physical enough)

OSU over Bama (Meyer makes Saban quit and take over as the new Texas coach)

Reasons why the FPI is a joke

1. http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/teamratings

2. Refer to reason #1

Hmm beat Bama in their backyard and crushed Oregon by 22 but somehow both teams are still better than the Undisputed National Champions.... I think not.

Moral of the story: FPI sucks.

Hardest to Replace IMO

1.) Michael Bennett- unless Joel Hale moves back to D i see this as a thin position group with only Munger and Schutt

2.) Doran Grant- Apple will step up as the shutdown corner and either Webb, Lattimore or Conley will fill in and play well

3.) Devin Smith- Thomas, Wilson, Marshall, Dixon the list goes on... we will find a playmaker to fill D Smiths shoes

4.) Evan Spencer- hard to replace leadership, but someone will emerge as a leader

5.) Steve Miller- whoever fills in will have the benefit of playing opposite of Big Bad Joey Bosa

6.) Jeff Heuerman- Vannett will fill in much like this year and the performance will be much the same

7.) Daryl Baldwin- I see Farris or Jones filling in nicely here

8.) Curtis Grant- Raekwon Mcmillan enough said.

Overall considering how short of a time he had to recruit would say this is a solid class for him. I would say these are some of the key pieces in the class.

RB Tyreik Gray

OG Kameron Eloph

OT Joshua Jones

WR Terry Mark

Whoever the starter is for the season will have a legitimate chance to win the Heisman and to think that it was only a few seasons ago that we had Joe Bauserman at QB to start the season.

2011 Depth Chart: 1. Joe Bauserman  2. Braxton Miller (only a freshman) 3. Kenny Guiton

2015 Depth Chart: 1A. Braxton Miller  1B. Jt Barrett  1C. Cardale Jones  2. Stephan Collier

I am going to go out on a limb here and say our QB situation is a little bit better than it was back in 2011.

On a serious note I don't think any of us truly understand how extremely lucky we are. Its such a great time to be a Buckeye!!

Considering Grant hadn't lived up to his potential much until this year, it would have been easy for him to want the position all to himself and get all of the glory. Instead the man stepped up, helped show Raekwon the ropes and lead this team to a national championship. He is the definition of a true buckeye.
