Derek was born and raised in West Liberty, Ohio and grew up in a family that bled scarlet and gray, thrusting him into that way of life as a child. He still remember the early stages of being a Buckeye fan and watching Eddie George scamper away from the Notre Dame defense. He's an avid sports fan in general and other than Ohio State, he also aligns myself with the Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Reds. Derek went to Ohio Northern University and will have a Bachelor's degree in Physical and Health Education shortly. He aspires to coach baseball some day.

I'm not sure where Gresham and OSU stand or will? I think they like Knox much more, and he is at a position of need.

Gresham really isn't and Parris Campbell is already in the fold.

My optimism on Berger and OSU is not because of anything, positive or negative, with any other linebacker.

Urban Meyer just brought the heat this past weekend with him.

I got Wisconsin, Duke, Miami, and NC State in the 4 games. But I only was correct 9/16 times yesterday. Luckily, I only lost one Sweet 16 team, in New Mexico, who just so happened to be in my Final Four as well.

I picked Duke to lose in 2nd round to Creighton. Not sure why but I haven't been impressed by them much this season, even with the return of Ryan Kelly.

I think it is my lack of any sort of confidence in poing guard Quinn Cook.

For the spring game Ohio State can not facilitate any kind of transportation. They will have kids there but I imagine it won't be as many, and probably mostly southwest Ohio kids.

For Drew Barker, he has stated to me that he has been hearing less from OSU. I think they are favoring Kyle Allen and Caleb Henderson more at this point.

Either of them, or another quarterback that pops up, could get offers at some point. It is wait and see still.
