You are officially not the first person to say Franklin is or might not be on the hot seat. I think he's gone soon, this year or next. If BOB had stuck around, B1G would've had another team in the top 15 this week and TTUN would be 3-1, but I'm trying to rewrite history.
Let's not put the Sun Belt Conference on the same level as the other Group Five conference. The two Georgia schools have each had a moment in the spotlight, and App St isn't even as good as they were as an FCS team (obviously they're building successfully). The MWC, American and MAC each have at least one or several teams that can compete come bowl season. Only the C-USA which is still gutted from the Big East fiasco is as bad as the Sun Belt.
Like every moneymaking entity in America, the Pac-12 is training its gaze overseas in search of growth.
There's our problem. Universities and conferences are just trying to make money now.
I think Bama might be the only team in the SEC that can stop LSU, even though I think LSU is the better team overall. I don't see Fournette running over Bama's D-line and LSU is pretty one dimensional. They're just really, really strong in that one dimension.
AND A GOOD DAY TO YOU SIR!
(In my best Walter impersonation)
I got that one!
I haven't been able to stop laughing at this.
Hov, every time I have something to comment on, it's like you've already said it. Are you my Tyler Durden?
Or am I yours?
The John Stockton of sacks?
I think they were pretty fair. They definitely could've done a whole Armageddon piece but I think they realize, like most level-headed fans, that there are issues that can, and most likely will, get fixed.
Good to see most of the teams off to a good start. Will the XC teams make any waves in the B1G this year?
As soon as I land, I'm heading to the Gaslamp area downtown. Anyone else watching it in SD?
Archer needs to become more of a thing on this site. PHRASING, BOOM!
I can't figure out where this GIF starts and ends!
Awesome. Thanks for the replies.
Eh, like the 2014 Hokies ended ours?
Add the fact that there are more former OSU players commenting in one way or another than any other school, maybe any other conference. If there is an anti-OSU bias on ESPN, it is kept in check by guys like Galloway, Smith, Herbie and even Carter (I'm missing a few).
1 OSU WR > 2 Bama LBs
That's unfortunate. The "loudness" comes from the thick red border IMHO. Keep the flags.
This was mentioned a month or so ago on 11W. The ban was to keep him from working out at OSU, not to keep him off campus entirely. OSU specified after he made the move to CLE that he would be allowed to participate in the scrimmage at The Shoe as that was not the intent of the punishment.
I'm with you. I love watching the whole offense when JT is under center. But Cardale's highlights are like crack, I just can't get enough of him destroying D-linemen, safeties, and misguided, would-be intercepting Illini.
If that didn't happen in January, they're blind.
