@Nebraska = EPIC GAME. First time we've played them since the 50's, first Big Tweleven matchup, potential top 10 teams. Crowd will be jacked up in Lincoln.
Can't hate. McNutt and DJK pose serious, serious match-up problems to our DB's. Heck, they were problems last year (and they were catching passes from their freakin' backup). Also by the time we play Iowa, we'll probably be unranked because the computers will drop us altogether after our bye week.
Oh yeah, forgot they're in our division. Shit. Lesson learned: don't lose to Wisconsin. Ever.
This has been troubling me. We could conceivably go 11-1 and be headed to Orlando in January. What a tough pill to swallow considering we've suffered worse losses and gotten much better bowl berths. I suppose that's what happens when you don't take care of business on the road in conference (and so forth). A Big 10 title game came a year too late!
Other - Ian Darke or just about any other announcer who calls EPL games. Their commentary is smart and to the point, with a witty joke here and there, and in general would make American football announcing tolerable. They are the complete antithesis of Jon "NOW THAT WAS A FOOTBALL PLAY" Gruden and his ilk.
That was the most derp-tasting ending to a game I have ever witnessed. How LSU keeps winning truly is a mystery of the universe.
Winning is so mundane.
Speaking of FAMU and fighting, footage from the stands last night in Miami:
I can only imagine what started the fight.
Drunken UM fan: "NO BRAH DIS IS DA U! YOU GON' GET SHOT TALKIN' THAT SHIT IN HERE!"
FAMU fan: "FUCK YOU MAN I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS AND DEN BONE YOUR GIRLFRIEND AFTER."
Edit: Actually it kind of looks like two UM fans fighting, which in that case is perfectly normal. Carry on, everyone.
The 3% of you (as of 3:42 PM EST) are all haters.
I live with a Florida grad and an Alabama grad. Lord, please see to it that the Buckeyes kick the living shit out of everyone this year. It's been a long off-season.
