TV ratings are calculated by the shows format. So a 30 minute sitcom is divided in half. The 2 15 minutes sections each get a rating and then the average is taken. (I work in TV and look at ratings everyday).

so when the Ohio state game was in hand, people flipped over to see the bama game and gave them a nice boost towards the end I'm sure. When I get into work I'll know for sure.

well, we have a bye week. so I think they will probably work a little extra at practices getting some guys in there

Wouldnt even cost that much. You would set up a trade with who ever the t-shirt printers are.

Advertise them somewhere around the stadium in return for the t-shirts. Also let them put there logo somewhere on the shirt.  I work in a TV station, and we get things all the time from trade agreements like this.
