OSU Alum, but grew up in Toledo and went to 3-4 games per season. They're a fun team to root for. Almost always competitive, and like the rest of Toledo very blue collar, but they certainly work hard. They also recruit in Toledo quite a bit, so it was cool to watch high school friends play there.
It gets worse. The players stay the same age (range) but you keep getting older...
I see a lot of Ohio players getting offers from Bama. Have the Tide snagged any good Ohio recruits, or do they just keep trying and failing?
I created an account just to agree with you on not caring for Ohio. In fact, I hate the state of Ohio.
I grew up in Toledo, which is a terrible, miserable little city. I had an internship in Cleveland during school, and I think Cleveland is the worst city I've ever lived in. After graduating in '12, I moved to Baltimore, MD, and loved it. After living there for a year, I got a work transfer to Cinci, to be closer to my family and my girlfriend, and hated it. Cinci sucks. Less than 8 months later I was given the opportunity to transfer to CO, and I never want to think about living in Ohio again. In fact, the only reason I would want to go to back to Ohio would be to go to a big Buckeye football game.
I love my school, Buckeye football is my favorite thing in the world, and Columbus is a cool city, but Ohio as a whole just sucks.
