Our comments weren't transferred with site change, or else U & I would be able to re-post plenty on folks being fickle & just passing over this young man.

Too much of 11W's has turned into canabalistic circle jerk followers ready to be negative/cry @ the 1st sign of controversy or any defeat. (See recent comments on Amir Williams.)

I'm pulling for Cardale to light it up, AND Marcelys Jones after all that BS that was posted about him because he didn't do what 'they' thought he should be doing as the 1st commit.

Exactly, Ohio has more than enough talented/famous Natives to have been split Male/Female.

I'm not a big fan of the "transplants" either no matter what they may have accomplished. Should be Ohio born & bred only.

I guess since I'm not one of the 'lazy' one's,(eat veggies/fruit daily; excercise 6 x's weekly 2hrs.), I read some of those very interesting statistics.

Since our commenting policy prevents me from conveying some of it for you fellow, 'lazy Ohioans', I highly recommend you look & see some of the strangly relative stats pertaining to religion, poverty, & political affiliation.

How true is the cliche', "Can't fix stupid!!" ? ;)

Yes, this jumped out at me as well.

Good to hear that the young man who was the 1st to commit, & from O-H-I-O is doing well. He spent time kicking off/FG's & finished his senior year on the D-line. Now that he has time to concentrate on his specific area of expertise under Coach Ed on the field, & Coach Mick off it, I believe we will see that mean streak that shows up so much when U watch him on film blocking.

I wonder if because he didn't post comments here on 11W's, or he & his parents didn't start up a website about his recruiting, can he ever be a 'fan' favorite on this site after all the B.S. that was typed about him?

B1G Marcelys fan here!!! Go get 'em young Man!!!

I believe the LB corps will be what the DL was last year. Seriously worried about, but for naught because it turned out to be a strength.

Perry doesn't get the credit he deserves because everyone was so used to RDS flashing into the play so often. I think Josh will be fine. It's Grant that really needs to look over his shoulder.

And as much as I defend Tress, it's his fault our LB's were 'without' the past few years. He missed on 2 of Ohio's best 2 years in a row.

  2.  Trey DePreist

Ohio's 'reputation' around our nation, I have learned, is just like someone's opinion of Cleveland who is from Cincinnati. Never been there & only know what they have "heard", but don't like it anyhow!! Ohio's greatness stems from us being plum in the middle. All the 'new fads' that originate else where & trickle to our great state gives us time to see & hear about it, then only apply the best parts of it into our culture. We truly are, "The Heart Of It All." I love Ohio, fuck any one who doesn't.

People in Ohio DON'T know how to merge, sheesh!!!!

I absolutely refuse to click on to anything that could be a spoiler of the finale of True Detective. Thanks, but no thanks.

Coach Ash sounds like the real deal. He will have a plethora of talent he has never had befor to work with, so let's see how it all works out. Back 7 matches the DL ? We will be a top #3 defense.

Glad Kwon & Dixon laid it out for Kirk, & the tweets are something positive. I'm just on a, "Hurry up & wait!!!", status right now.

Good Skully Brother.

"....POTUS is only going to use political pressure..."

Yeah, that's so lame. We need to just nuke 'em!!! War, war, war!!! It's OUR planet damnit, let's police & run it how WE want to!!!"

With the kind of depth UFM is building these days, a bye week in league play for us will almost not be fair to the rest of the B1G.

Don't believe the hype that a bunch of millionaires wouldn't know how to use GPS.

Helluva, "before the show", photo !!!

I jumped out my seat screaming, "Hell Yeah!!!!!", when I seen that time.

He would be a good fit for any QB that spreads it around. S.D., N.E., N.O., Den., or G.B.: I truly believe he will excell in the NFL like Hartlien has.

The real question is: Would it help in recruiting like it has Oregon ?

I really am not a fan of that style, but it's the 17-19 year olds who it would sway. So, for a game or two a year, I could stomach it.

Another good laugh on that page.

First "The Onion", now this "Somethingawful", I shudder to think what else I will learn on 11W & E-Mail to people I know !!!!

It always perplexes me how a player can "rise or fall", and no football at all is being played.

It's why I pay no attention to the NFL combine. Just because a guy runs a slow, or fast 40, doesn't mean he all of a sudden is a worse, or better football player. Let's let the season play out & see what the young men do on the feild, not at camps & such.

Add to that the fact that if you browse through all the recruiting sites, Scout, Rivals, E$pin & 247, they're all across the board on who is ranked where.

I just trust UFM & his evaluations. Last year, no one had Curtis Samuel on their mind/list. By the end of the year, everyone did.

Go Bucks !!!

Way too many rose colored glasses answers. MSU was supposed to have trouble replacing Gholston last year, BAM!!! (Funky Fingers Productions style) The Calhoun kid busts out like gang busters. Bullough suspended for Rose Bowl ? No problem !

Now, we see a team lined up with starting QB, RB, & WR's all in place where offense was always supposed to be a Walrus, oops, weakness.

Wake up brethren, Dantonio is the real deal. And his team will reflect that. Let's just be glad he can't get recruiting classes that Thee Ohio State University can, or he would REALLY be trouble !!!!!!!!!!
