IMO the dude was a douche up in his grill...seemed like a cordial exchange btwn him and Combs...props to a competitor...GO BUCKS and Muck Fishigan
I say stay at 6 teams. Why not have a bye for #1 and #2? Have #3 play #6 and #4 play #5. Next week is 4 team playoff. To me it makes sense for the top 2 teams to get a bye. Kind of a consolation prize? I realize there are a lot of outside things to consider. This would only add one more game.
Do you believe it would have been a different game had there been better weather? I'll take us 9/10 times against Mich St (this years teams) in Indy...other than play calling I believe the weather played right into their hands...it was just a perfect set of events...Ohio State is the better team and everyone knows it...coulda shoulda woulda though
If we beat Notre Dame by more than 4 points then it will be worth it...considering that's how many points they lost by total...TOSU can make a statement here IMO..we can be the TCU of last year...GO Bucks! Beat Notre Lame!
10 a.m. for me...ughh...
That ref must have bet on Clemson and threw the flag to keep Clemson from Clemsoning
I LOL'd...UV for you good sir
I think it's highly possible that TTUN gets 9 wins (although the least amount of wins the better). IMO they definitely lose to Penn St, Mich St., and TOSU. On a tangent, I think Penn St is massively underrated this year. But, I suppose we will see.
I agree with the 3 mentioned. Maybe it is just me, but I think Corey Smith is a name to look out for this season. If he cures his dropsies, that dude can be electric.
From listening to the coach speak (not to put words in his mouth) it seems that if Braxton is fully healthy, and stays healthy this fall, he could be the #1 QB. I would be so excited to see Braxton play with the weapons and offensive line we now have around him. Yes, the coach will make the best decision for the team, but personally I can't wait to see #5 behind center. He doesn't need the Kings arm to run this offense. Man, Sept is so far away
Let's just say that Zeke is now my son's favorite player :)...I still get emotional when I see it for the 1 billionth time.
Hey BuckeyeKnight.....Go Pioneers!! ;)...graduated from ZT in 00...First time I have noticed someone from my neck of the woods on this site. Either way, congrats to the Shermans...Have to say i haven't been keeping tabs on ZT bball. We were pretty good back in my day lol.
+1 for the word of the month "teamotions"
The 2014-2015 season could not have been scripted any better. Lose one of, if not the best defensive end in the country, lose a dynamic returner/h-back mid-season, have the second least starts on the offensive line in the country, a first year defensive backs coach (for tOSU), a first year defensive line coach (for TOSU), Lose the second game of the season, lose two heisman qbs, have an abundance of youth, tragically lose a teammate in Kosta, hold a 2,000 yard Heisman candidate rusher to 76 yds on 26 carries, and go into the playoff as the fourth seed. Beat ALABAMA (king of college football and #1 seed) with yet another Heisman finalist. And last but not least winning by 22 and holding Oregon, and the Heisman winner to their lowest point total of the season! The FIRST Winners of the FIRST EVER CFP! Just amazing! This is history, and being able to witness it is something I will never forget! GO BUCKS!!!
We are the guards who say NEEE!
I have one word for this...HILARIOUS! "Somebody lost their wrist watch"... My gut hurts lol
Haha...you said poo poo
Another reason I could see this happening would be to have a spy on Mariotta. I realize that could be Darron Lee's job. But I also wouldn't want to waste his athleticism as a spy. He is a better player when he is just let loose IMO.
That is a good point. My thinking is that because of the speed that will be on the field having Armani out there instead of let's say a Grant or Perry (in specific down situations) would be slightly beneficial. I am not an arm chair coach. I'm just curious as to whether or not they go speed over power. I think it makes sense simply bc of the tempo.
Me too. It's something different, and I suppose that's the whole point. All in all I don't care how the field looks as long as The Ohio State University is celebrating on it afterwards. GO BUCKS!
Thanks for the info...I may check it out. Blondies seats are going fast and I don't want to pay $100 for 4 seats when I may only need two at most.
I am in North Vegas about 15 min from Nellis AFB....Buffalo is a bit of a drive but would still be worth it.
Opus, I am not much of a bettor but I appreciate the info. The Blondies place sounds like an attractive place to go. Thanks!
