Definitely. Going 12-0 is a testament to the mental toughness and preparation of this team, because a lot of these games could have easily gone the other way. But 12-0 doesn't mean 12 dominating performances. There are a lot of moments where I cringe while re-watching these (missed tackles!), but it's a measuring stick for how far the program has come in such a short time.
That article is definitely a gem. I was reading Reddit's /r/cfb board during the playoffs and the Gator fans repeatedly asserted that the our boys had to be thugs, since UFM was leading the program. You never know what goes on behind closed doors, but there hasn't been much smoke around the program.
My wife and I avoided that controversy when the fall date she wanted was already booked.
My view was, we were already making people drive to Dayton to sit through a ceremony and a reception without alcohol (religious families). No sense in pushing them even further.
And their CS team was definitely on the ball.
I found a pirated stream that kept me going until the beginning of the second quarter. It stopped having trouble before halftime. I don't know if they brought more resources online or if lots of people just gave up.
I knew we were in trouble when tennis was on at 11:58 and the audio was echoing. They definitely underestimated the traffic from the #1 fanbase in America.
No worries! You had the punchier headline :)
I think it might have something to do with Urban Meyer being socially aware and Bert being... kinda creepy and weird.
