Hovered over the Link and sure enough "seccountry.com" First they make up nonsense about the UK recruit bashing Urban Meyer (which later turned out to be proven inaccurate by the recruit himself), now they run this kind of stuff. Pathetic disgrace of a website. Also ridiculous that people read it and think it's legit so they get click bait. The whole obsession over the sec has been over for a while now. Regardless, we root for teams themselves not groups of teams. Pretty Sad.
This team can make a run in the BIG tourney. Will 2 or 3 wins be enough for the NCAA's? should be but you never know. Solid offense today, just can't do much when the opponent shoots an unrealistic 69% for the GAME.
I obviously have nothing against Mitchell, might become a really good player. But why does he start and get extended minutes lately? Provides zero offense and last few games has had too many turnovers. Surely he can score/shoot
Great write up and insight into the "behind the scenes" of Buckeye football we don't often get to hear or see. Also awesome to hear directly from a former great player. Thanks Brian!
Wouldn't Ohio State want Oklahoma to win? That way there's not two 1 loss big12 teams (Ok state would move up beating Oklahoma). If Bama loses next week, and Stanford wins tonight takes out Notre Dame, then Iowa Wins next week, thats everyone ahead of OSU "blocking them". ND and Baylor (alread out) would be out. So that would leave Oklahoma, Iowa, and then two spots to give to Clemson and Ohio State. Doesn't that logic make sense or is it just me?
The team is showing alot of potential and promise, just coming up short in these games. A couple turnovers here and missed shots here and there, you change those the other way and they win tonight. Not like they're getting blown out. Hopefully some of these close games will start going their way.
I expect that as well. Giddens brings energy and a lot of physicality and talent. Exciting and something that hasn't been mentioned since the Sullinger days. Thompson and Bell can also still be reliable if Giddens ends up getting that starting spot.
Matta has always been a big defense first guy. Luckily this year will be different in that I think there's gonna be a lot more offensive firepower overall than the previous couple years. That's what they needed, depth and scoring talent. Defense can be learned. Could be a very good year if the young guys play at a high level.
Got the book in the mail today from Amazon. Looks like a good read. Didn't receive the preorder bonuses though. Does anyone know if they were supposed to send those separate? Don't recall seeing anything on the preorder form.
Big Indycar fan here, tragic accident and a sad day for the sport. Great guy and a really talented driver. Will be missed.
Braxton in the new #1 jersey, catching it and scoring a TD
Go Tony Kanaan! Was at last year's race, and the prior year to see TK win his first.
Theyll get in. No "quality" wins yet, but alot of season left. It's still early. The seniors need to step up and help lead these young freshman, and if that can be done they will improve as the season continues on.
Same here, kind of a quiet, composed celebration. Shocked at the events of the season as a whole, and amazed at the run they had to come together and win it all.
I'm from the Cincy/NKY area. All I have to say is Go Bucks!
69 yards, Bucks still win
Yeah, Winston finishing 6th with 17 interceptions is I think more of the fact that his team is undefeated and he won the award last year. Unfortunately team performance has affected the award more recently. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't have been anywhere near 6th.
Congrats to Mariota on a heck of a season. Impressive for Barrett to finish 5th in the situation that occured, amazing season for him. Hopefully Cardale can cap off the season with two more wins.
Incredible performance. What a season, and a great bunch of kids that deserved a conference championship. Maybe more hardware to come.
Great tribute to Karageorge. Let's get a championship and a spot in the playoff
Exactly, Jones can throw. Have we seen enough reps to say he can throw accurately? No, but he surely can make it happen. Just get it to the play makers. Be a distributor, just like Barrett's "role" was. Before he became a heisman contender that is.
