Please tell me our fans chanted "just like football". I'm still mad about that from last year.
I feel like people are always gonna find a way to complain when Ohio state makes the playoffs. Look at 2014..won the conference championship and still there were people whining that TCU should've been in over us.
People just don't like to see Ohio state have nice things.
Michigan State laying an egg in the postseason. Looks like they were correct with their little "just like football" chant.
Definitely singing Carmen Ohio with thousands of buckeye fans as the confetti rained down in AT&T stadium. Watching the Buckeyes win a championship in person has been on my bucket list for awhile, and I'm glad I finally got to check that one off.
Honorable mention goes to 85 yards through the heart of the south, and the moment when Ohio State was announced as the fourth team in the playoff. I shed some tears for both of those. I was just so happy for the team after everything they had been through last year.
I only truly root for the other teams in the conference during bowl season.
I have some Wisconsin friends, and even though they did celebratory shots and rubbed it in when we lost in the Final Four in 2012, I decided to be the better person and support them during the tournament this season. Plus, they already got their karma (59-0)
41-14 was awful, and so was the 2009 USC game that we should have won. But neither of those affected me as bad as the 2013 Big Ten Championship loss to Sparty. That stung. After everything we had been through (tat-gate, bowl ban, losing to the SEC numerous times), OSU was finally going to make it back to the national championship. I have several MSU and Michigan fan friends that definitely rubbed it in too. I'll admit it, I cried after that loss, but then went home, and looked up when we played Sparty in 2014 so I could count down the days until revenge. Needless to say, I celebrated pretty hard the night of November 8th, 2014.
My lucky #33 jersey. OSU is undefeated in the past 7 years when I am wearing that jersey. I was not wearing it for Va Tech game...
On a plane heading there from the west coast. Tons of duck fans on this flight....please tell me Dallas is swarming with Buckeyes!
The link you posted above is for One Direction tickets. Can you please post a link from StubHub, CL or anywhere where you are seeing tickets for $150?
Where are you seeing tickets for $300 and $240 each? I checked Craigslist and Ebay and don't see anything close to those prices. Face value for the nosebleeds is $450.....
I regret to say I got married last year during the Cal game. I was literally walking down the aisle during kick off. To my defense, I had no other option because every venue was booked solid on other dates during the summer. My bridesmaids gave me minute by minute updates, and before the reception, i snuck into a back room with my husband and was able to catch a portion of the game. We won convincingly, which I hope means good luck for our marriage.
Yeah the only tape I remember hearing had him saying he received a tip. I could have very well missed something though. I haven't seen any facts that indicated the "lying" was more than lying by omission. Also, I'm not saying that lying by omission means he did nothing wrong. Just trying to show how the facts got so blown out of proportion with Tatgate. Some people often say "tressel lied multiple times and actively covered up many violations!" which I feel is inaccurate.
Do you know when he specifically said "no" when asked that question? Just curious. Because the press conference I saw, Tressel said "I did receive a tip".
If I'm not mistaken, Tatgate was known to the public prior to the Sugar Bowl, and the NCAA deemed the Tat 5 eligible to play in that game.
There is a program called Hide My Ass that I used when I lived in Italy to watch the games. It allows you to disguise your IP address or use one in the US so you can watch games on ESPN3, ect. There is also something called a slingbox that you can use (i never had one, but my neighbor did).
I was in Canada last weekend and they were being huge a-holes about putting the games on. I'm glad I will be in the US this weekend at my local b-dubs where I know for sure the games will be on.
Ten years ago, I was a junior at OSU and watching the game at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Grille on Olentangy. When we won, all I remember is screams and cheering, furniture was flying, and when I came to I was underneath a table that had somehow collapsed. My friend got hit in the head by something and we had to go to the OSU ER to get her stiches. She still has the scar on her forehead. I think about this game ever time I see her lol.
A cool story though happened with my Buckeye friend that lived in Arizona at the time. He dropped another friend off at the ticket box office to pick up his ticket, and lo and behold, another ticket was stuck to the back of his friends ticket. My friend got to use that ticket and go to the national championship for free (but obviously whoevers ticket that was got royally screwed)
I have a question for you guys. Is there any chance that the Buckeyes could drop to a #4 seed if they lose out? At this point, Im just hoping to see them play in Portland, and the current bracket projections look like the 4 seeds from the big ten will be playing there
Youngstown is my hometown. I know all too well the dangers of that city. And it keeps getting worse and worse. Tressel being immersed in that for years is why he feared for his players safety.
I wouldnt use the term "cheating". Tattoos arent perfomance enhancing
