BassDropper I was up as high as 275. I am 6'1. I am now at 220 and holding for the last couple years. My best advice is make sure you drink a lot of water. And, eliminate all diet pop, and drinks like(apple juice, grape juice, coolaid). And, if you are going to drink alcohol. Just, drink moderately and drink beer, no liquor. You do have to do cardio. However, be careful to not be doing too much of one thing. Mix it up and do your weight lifting with next to no rest in between excercises. Also, for now. running, if its not on a treadmill could actually do more harm than good. You don't want to hurt you back or knees and be out of commission. Keep working out your focus. And, make it a part of each day. I hope you are feeling better brother. Stay strong! You have a lot going for you. Just take it one day at a time. And, I have fought depression also. If you ever need to talk, I am available. 614 753 0249 All best!
I hope you are getting the advice that is going to help you. Congrats for reaching out. That is not easy. And, its not easy giving up a habit. But, keep it up brother.... It sounds like you have a lot going for you. You are young. And, excited about a career you are pursuing. It is easy to say, "Don't think about the past." But, when you do, try to reflect on what you learned from those mistakes. All best!
So proud to be a BUCKEYE! This story is awesome. I wish I could tell each and every player and coach how proud I am of all the opportunities/time they take to brighten up peoples lives. So happy to see our BUCKEYES win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. But, even more happy to see the way these players carry themselves and the difference they have made reaching out to Jacob, Noah and so many others.
Amir is playing scared. Like he is in elementary school vs. NBA players. He is so nervous and tentative. What I would give to have his frame and ability. What a waste!
Craft has checked out. On to Med School. Thanks for the GREAT 3 years.
Can not watch anymore. I really can't. I hate that my kids are watching with me. And, I have to explain to them when they ask, why aren't they getting back on defense? My kids are in middle school. That sums our problems up for me. How many coast to coast layups are we giving up a game. Why can't their effort show in that one category. GET BACK ON DEFENSE!
Lack of leadership is evident. Craft has no offensive game. That has not changed. What has changed is his all out effort on defense. Over the last 3 years I have not seen as many coast to coast layups from other teams. Where is he? Where is the best defensive player that I have ever seen play the game? Give me a highlight of anything on defense he has shown in the last 5 losses. This team is in trouble if he doesn't lead by example. I love Aaron Craft. But, if he doesn't pick it up. He should not be on the floor.
Great read! Glad he is a BUCKEYE! Really looking forward to see what the next few years will bring.
I agree! How in the heck can she make the assumptions she did from this video? The way she described it I thought Carlos was done. She even commented on what he was saying to the girl. Did Mindy have audio? Would Carlos have a civil case with Mindy Drayer? I definately think she has some explaining to do.
I wont eat your shorts. But, I will second that. No way are they a 3 or 4 seed. This team is very soft and has NO heart. They lack, team chemistry and the ability to play defense for a whole game let alone for a full shot clock. Play the scrubs and let the players sit that dont want to play. I much rather watch a butt kicking with players on the floor that are actually playing as hard as they can, than watch the same guys go out there and go thru the motion half assed.
This team needs a BIG dose of toughness. They need to spend some time with Coach Mariotti. Sam Thompson, Amir Williams and LaQuinton Ross all need to put on weight. They get pushed around and can do nothing but hang their heads. I am HUGE Buckeye fan and was very optimistic, as always. But, this team will be lucky to make it to the tournament. If they do, it will be one and done.
