The Champs Sports locations in Columbus should have them in stock when they open & also on their website at 8am. I called Eastland mall & they said the shoes would be in stock in the morning. I would rather get them at Easton but I can't get anyone there to answer the phone. I will probably try my luck at Eastland in the morning so I have them for the weekend.
I think the race thing definitely plays a role in why people hate Duke. Look at this article ESPN did on Craft earlier this year:
I don't understand the logic behind why people think this way, but it seems like a lot of them do.
Thanks for the tip Sarah. I just purchased that home alone Christmas sweater. I think I am going to be a hit at my family's Christmas eve party.
Great introduction. I needed that to get my hate week started.
Marijuana possession is more serious than a DUI? There is a reason why weed is decriminalized in Ohio and a DUI is a first degree misdemeanor. The assault & DUI charges are way more severe than what Dunn was involved in. His suspension will probably reflect that. I wouldn't expect him to miss more than 1-3 games.
That was a great skull session, but it was a direct rip off of things Kevin Noon has reported in the past. 11W would have no content without Kevin Noon. Kevin Noon is the only person capable of getting any information on OSU athletics. Kevin Noon is the only person with a camera on his phone to take awesome pictures inside of the WHAC too. Also, Kevin Noon invented the internet so anything on here deserves attribution to him for creating it.
I can't believe they are making a party down movie. That is the best news I've got all week.
I was at the game and stood up and yelled at the people around me yelling overrated. The #2 team in the country should expect to win at home no matter who they are playing. It would be nice if our fans acted like we should win the game. I am assuming most of the people yelling overrated do not follow basketball much.
I don't see it happening either, but I think he would be great for the program if the rumor were true.
I might be one of the few, but I would love to have Herbstreit on staff. He would be a major upgrade from Siciliano & I think he would be a great recruiter. He obviously loves the university & I think it would be a great way for him to come home after the way everything happened with the move to Nashville. The only problem I have ever had with him is when he moves us down in the polls after beating Arkansas & when he got in the eighth grade girl cat fight with Pryor. I think he made some mistakes there, but he picks OSU to when the B1G every year & picks them to win almost every week on gameday. I am not really sure what else people want from him. I think this would be a great story & great move for the program & fans to welcome him back.
Student scalpers are absolutely "the worst kind of people." They take advantage of the system and screw over the students that actually want to go to the games. If you do not want to go to the games, do not buy tickets. I wish they would no longer allow students to "upgrade" tickets to general public tickets.
I couldn't agree more about Byron Mullens. I hated watching him play. He had all of the tools to be good, but always played soft. He is huge but refused to take the ball strong to the basket and he was a terrible rebounder. Also, I couldn't take watching him stand next the basket pointing at the rim to call for alley oops every possesion.
11W is starting to make it big time. Got a link in this Yahoo! article about Herbstreit moving. It's under the "efforts at objectivity towards OSU" hyperlink.
My greatest game would have to be the 2006 game against scUM. We had decent seats in the south stands & it seemed like it was a totally different atmosphere than a normal gameday. I have been fortunate enough to go to some important games at Ohio Stadium, but nothing compared to the atmosphere that day. I’ll never forgot running on to the field after that game & carrying as much grass off the field (the last game with real grass in the stadium) & carrying it back to my apartment.
