I'm sending 12 Gauge the bill from my hospital stay caused by the heart attack I got from this.
Little disappointed we didn't want to play them and another team. I love the buckeyes, but Gene refuses to schedule us some big names a bit.
Great read. #GrindFor9
What a distance our secondary has come from two years ago. I still have nightmares of Jared Aberdaris (or however you spell it) running circles around us.
What is the number? I'll save myself a google search...
I don't know what was better.
1. This shot itself.
2. Thad Matta's reaction, just screaming in a violent fit.
3. I don't know if anyone remembers, but right after scUM hit the layup, the TV cut to the upper corner of the arena where a bunch of scUM kids were sitting. They all has profane, anti-buckeye t shirts on with nasty sayings. They were going wild. After the ET shot, the camera cut back to those same fans. They were all sitting there with their faces in their hands, completely stunned. I was laughing and celebrating so hard...that's all I remember.
I can understand that. But I was disgusted that we got beat so badly. Sure they were the better team, but I hate losing. And I hate losing bad.
Every single time I watch the Holy Buckeye replay, I get sick to my stomach in nervousness. I never know if he's going to get it this time. Fortunately I am proven wrong every time. Sweet lord, my heart rate is so high.
08 didn't hurt at all? Did for me. losing 35-3 (or whatever it was) hurts every time.
Please Flakin. Please.
Texas 05 Hurt bad too. And both USCs. but let's not dwell on these...
Big Ten Championship game vs. Sparty was killer. Watching that in person was awful. Then the browns choked away a game to the Patriots the following day on the ride home. Miserable.
I have much championship gear that I wear all the time. Can't wear it enough. But the official "Undisputed Champs" shirt I will never wear. I have one, of course. But this puppy will forever hang on my wall.
Love this article. What a great moment.
It's good to know we pound michigan in everything. including twitter followers
I'm a high school senior at Highland High in Medina. We played Massilon in the playoffs last year, and beat em by a field goal. We didn't have the athletes, speed, strength, or size that the tigers did but we won for two reasons. First, coaching. We are very well coached. But also, DANNY CLARK.
He missed 3 touchdowns that game. 3 WIDE OPEN receivers. That cost him the game. Granted it was only 1 game, but I truly don't expect him to do anything at OSU.
I NEEEEED the 59-0 beat down as well...
There's a football trophy down at the Woody that was recently won by a 4 seed.
Ya know, the problem I've always had with that video is right after the TD, the camera and microphone goes to the front of the student section. On the TV, you can only hear those few fans cheering out front. If you listen closely, it sounds like a Highschool game or something. The roar of the crowd was much more deafening.
I was sitting closed end, 8A. When Brax got flushed outside, it looked like he had room to run and pickup the first down. We were all screaming "RUN BRAX! WHY ARENT YOU RUNNING!?!?" Then he lofts it up there, and I clearly remember someone behind me screaming "NO!". The place was silent. The ball hung in the air for an hour. Then, I turned and looked into the endzone to see a wide open D. Smith awaiting the football. I screamed "LOOK HE HAS SMITH!!". The ball fell into his arms, and after that nothing was the same.
Very true. Borens sack was awesome as well.
Same here. I've only been to a handful of games at the Shoe. But 2011 vs. Wiscy was my first. Couldn't believe how loud it was. One of the happiest moments of my life. ZEKE's 50 yard run on 4th down vs. scUM was pretty loud too...and Boren's sack vs them in 2012...but Brax to Smith In 2011 was loudest.
Finisher of wolverines.
Still in awe over this season. But my first trip to the shoe to see a below average buckeye team to play Russel Wilson and the Badgers in 2011 is still top of my list. I can still see Brax heaving that ball to Smith. What a game. Wow. what a game.
Russell Wilson has won the Super Bowl...but he has never won in the shoe.
He's enjoying the basketball ticket that came free with his purchase of 1 small pizza.
C'mon guys. Get over the black unis. Let Oregon and the other mid-majors (Cincy, Rutgers, etc.) have their black jersey gimmicks. Were too big for that. We win titles wearing scarlet and gray. Who cares about black uniforms.
