It's always interesting to see where DJ's imagination takes him
so maybe the parents should stop coddling them and then blaming the next generation
as someone who grew up in Dublin... damn the hatred is strong. Thought we were on the same team
Well since someone already dug up this thread, guess 9er laughs at his own jokes too
and why would these incidents rise once you give college kids money?
When I go back home I will definitely try out this new whiskey tasting technique
I love DJ. And his writing.
Just highly doubt this article is true. Poor writing skills, over-the-top exaggeration, extremely slanted viewpoint.
but I don't have twitter
I want to see more out of Tyquan Lewis too. I remember during his recruitment he was supposed to have an explosive first step off the edge. I want to see more of that when he gets his playing time.
kind of funny, kind of sad
This is The United States of America. We do not play for ties, or celebrate advancing solely because another team lost. We do not celebrate when we lose 2 out of 3 ANYTHING.
Other than the fact that we didn't lose 2 out of 3, you should re-calibrate your expectations and calm down. Germany is one of the favorites to win the entire tournament, Portugal, when healthy, is a supremely talented team with the world's best player, and Ghana has beaten us in the last 2 World Cups. Getting out of this group is certainly an achievement to be celebrated.
I hear a lot of people saying they would stop watching college football if the concept of amateurism is gone. Haven't the TV contracts, corporate sponsors, bagmen, poor graduation rates, and lower acceptance standards already destroyed the concept of amateurism?
As students, we have to make many sacrifices; monetary rewards seemingly don't match the efforts students put in. Why student athletes should be any different?
People aren't watching you on national TV do your research work every week.
so who needs to pay who to get Germany to agree to a draw with the USMNT?
starts out with "please get a fucking life"
signs off as a "non-assholish member of society"
World Cup is the only time I'll watch soccer... and it's always quite a blast. Give it a shot!
Ramzy's writing is pure magic.
I'm in the camp of if he is willing to work out in front of our coaches to earn his offer and Urban is willing to accept his commitment, then I'm happy and excited for him.
Him not having a ton of offers is most likely because he lives in South Dakota.
