As much as I would love to see him in scarlet and gray again, his best decision is probably the NFL. His draft stock is soaring from all accounts I saw from NFL draft types on Twitter last night. He just had a baby 2 months ago and he probably won't start here next season. I don't see how anyone could blame him for declaring.
Still love the quote from Urban: "I'm so proud to see what our conference has done in these bowl games. We had to do that, because enough's enough."
Many ready to ticket Jim Harbaugh to Michigan. It very well might turn out right. But one source last night: "No agreement. No deal done."— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 28, 2014
Man, if this ends up not happening (I still think it will), it'd be downright hilarious at this point.
Eli Apple's PI on 3rd and 7 right after OSU tied the game was a killer. Had all the momentum, opportunity to get them 3 and out and get the ball again.
I'm 33 and I tend to lean towards the pro combat jerseys. Simply because I think they look better. I don't want kind of drastic overhaul, but I do feel that they're a more modern version of our traditional look.
I tend to take the attitude of nothing stays the same. The look we're so used to now was probably thought to be a blasphemous by a portion of our fanbase back then as well. They switch to the pro combat look and 15 years from now we'll be saying they shouldn't change from it to something else.
That's not to say I don't love our current uniforms or would be upset if we didn't make the switch. We really can't go wrong either way imo. Just avoid doing anything crazy and we're golden.
They also have a heated ring design with furnaces under the ring that shoots hot air out through vents in the ring posts. They designed it for 29 in New York. They tested the night before in 26 degree weather and it was 78 inside the ring. You can see them talk about it here around the 3 minute mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYL3iSS9hZU
WrestleMania in a snow storm would be kind of amazing really (if watching on tv anyway).
So we lose Mike Vrabel to the NFL and yet somehow manage to upgrade that position on the staff (that should not be taken as a knock on Vrabel in any way). Urban is incredible.
