Kosta's NIT championship begs to differ.
I got no problem with the kid decommitting because of this creep, but I do agree with you. I don't really see how the staff or school is at fault for this guy creeping on these kids, especially if it was off campus.
It's one thing if the guy just tweeted at him, but I think you're underestimating the fact that this pedophile was actively stalking him the night he got his picture taken with him. That is unsettling. I just don't see how anyone can call this kid mentally weak for that.
I don't think kids are much different now then they ever were. The only difference now is that they are more accessible. It's not like kids just started being me-first circa 2003, it's just easier for everyone to see now.
Not a good look man. Don't understand how you can be upset at Anzalone for this. The kid found out he was creeped on by a convicted pedophile, it sucks but I don't see how anybody can begrudge the kid with everything that has come to light.
That sounds ok in theory, but let's face it he found out he was stalked and approached by a sex offender who also communicated with him frequently on twitter. Can't really blame the kid for not wanting to go back to the place where this creep made contact with him (even if it was minimal).
Haha loved the Fenster "He'll flip ya" video.
Can't forget about his huge block at the buzzer of the Tennessee game in the sweet 16. The guy simply owned the paint on D.
Found this article dated June 12, 2009. The oldest article that came up when I searched "reggie bush violation" on ESPN was a Page 2 article from 2007 addressing a rumor that Reggie Bush had been banned from the Playboy Mansion.
Not to beat a dead horse here, but look no further than LSU and Alabama this year. Both teams have otherworldy defenses and rather pedestrian offenses. Simply put if you have a great defense your offense has a much larger margin of error. Look at Oklahoma State this year, great offense mediocre defense. And unfortunately for them when they needed their D to step up the most against Iowa St. they weren't up to the task. Or also look at Oregon in their big out of conference games the past few seasons against OSU, Auburn, and LSU. All of those teams had very talented defenses that were able to slow down the seemingly unstoppable Oregon offense. Bottom line there is no such thing as too much talent on defense.
So if Urb is Marlo, does that mean Fickell and Vrabel are his Partlow and Snoop?
I don't know if you can use the correct adjectives about this update because there is mixed company around.
Just for comparison sake, Shazier was listed at 6'2" 210 coming out of high school. Not too worried, the trend in college football now is smaller, faster and more athletic LBs that can cover as well as help in run support.
First off great interview, Alex is the Urban Meyer of recruit updates. Second gotta love our chances with this kid. He fits an area of great need and the fact that he isn't looking anywhere else other than PSU is a positive sign for the Buckeyes.
