Another ESPN narrative: Auburn should be rewarded for the perseverance and teamwork they have shown by doing anything possible to win their last 8 games. You know why they had to do that? Because they LOST the week before. How about some credit for winning 24 straight?!? Doesn't that make OSU 3x more deserving? How about a narrative of coming back from NCAA sanctions, not letting that tear this program apart, and not putting up a L in two seasons?
Last night Jesse Palmer went on a tirade about SOS and how OSU has no quality wins and their best OOC win is Buffalo, which proves Auburn should jump them. A quick look at the schedules shows that Auburn played Arkansas St, Western Carolina, and Florida Atlantic. Sooooo, their premier non-conf win is FAU and that means something?
They have already started, by saying that Michigan State hasnt played anybody, they are a paper tiger, and a win over them means nothing. I just love how an Auburn squeaker over Ole Miss means so much more than a potential win against #10 MSU...
Hey Jake, I didn't know you were in Boone. Are you working on a degree at App State or just happen to live in Boone? I got my Master's there this past May. Great little college town. It kinda reminds me of Athens, OH 15-20 years ago.
