I Love Teddy G but he was downright awful for the Cardinals last season.
Correct me if I am wrong but we have been playing Football at OSU for 125 years and have won 8 National Championships...All without any contribution from a Cass Tech player.
Cass Tech players need OSU more than OSU needs Cass tech players.
We are Ohio St. We Fear NOBODY! Ever.
Birm mentioned a long time ago that he thought TG would be a Buckeye. I will agree with Birm until we hear otherwise.
That being said, I can't get the feeling out of my stomach that TG is more trouble than he is worth. If we sign him, fine and I will hope he doesn't do anything stupid to embarrass himself or the University.
Harbaugh just missed out on hiring Vince Marrow from Kentucky as well... It makes me smile the savior is not getting all his top guys as coaches that he wants :)
Not sure if we win but I strongly believe this game is a dog fight and IF we do lose it will be by a td or less
I swear our fan base is soooo infatuated with every little thing scUM does. I could care less who they hire.
Whoever it is it will take them a minimum of 3-4 years to get them back to a competing standard
completely agree with you...who cares???
you must not have watched oregon play Uof A this year then...yes they won big but it certainly was not because "they started fast"
ok dude whatever you say. I have many legit reasons why FSU will beat oregon. You obviously are not able to comprehend my post so I will put it in terms so you can understand...FSU has better talent, coaches, and is way more physical.
Further more when a team has multiple weeks to prepare for oregon and they are a BIG, FAST, Physical team like FSU is, oregon usually doesn't win those games...like ever...unless you are wisconsin of course.
Im willing to wager a substantial amount of money on FSU if you're not scared and are so confident in the overrated Ducks.
FSU wins and wins easily...I actually think they blow oregon out
I have to LOL at all the people claiming FSU isn't the best team in the country because "they barely win all their games"
Key words there...THEY WIN ALL THEIR GAMES...How soon some of you forget our 2002 National Championship season where we "Barely won ALL our games"
FSU hasn't lost in 2 years...there is a reason for that...They are dominant and can beat you in many different ways.
they will out physical Oregon like all the elite teams do. I am seeing a 41-20 type game Noles roll
I am going to say I am not sure yet...No doubt they were the Silver Bullets on Saturday night but I also know they completely sold out to stop the run bc our staff knew Stave wasn't good enough to beat them with his arm.
That being said we can not completely sell out to stop the run vs ANY of the 3 remaining teams as they ALL have competent QB's with elite WR's.
I am however encouraged by the tackling as it was very solid Sat night and even more encouraged by the D Line rotation LJ had going on. That more than anything was the biggest difference as it allowed Michael Bennett, A Washington and Bosa to gt a breather every now and then which will be huge come 4th quarters.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that we are underdogs...Did anyone notice Urban's face yesterday during his press conference after a reporter told him we were underdogs???
If not I recommend watching on youtube. This team WILL be ready!!!
Thank You DJ!
Thoughts and prayers to the Karageorge Family and friends as well as the entire Buckeye Football Family!!!
Ummmm? I expect this type of poll at bucknuts but not here at 11W ;)
Man, no matter who they play for I NEVER want to see guys get injured. Here's to a speedy recovery Todd Gurley!!
Corey Linsley is a F*ckin' BOSS!
So Is Ed Warinner
I hear ya on Arizona St but take it from someone who has lived here for 10 years...They will lose a game they should win. Happens every single year with that program.
Awesome. They just pissed off an already angry Football team.
#1 get off your soap box.
#2 if you want to wear scarlet and gray blinders and think this is a great D, then go for it. "if you want to crown them, then crown their ass" - Dennis Green
#3 The majority of people have noted the improvements this D is making. That being said it's improvemnets vs much more inferior competition, so taking a "cautiously optimistic" approach is not a bad way to go.
#4 What happens if we go to E Lansing and they drop 35-40 on us? Are we all idiots for wanting to see more evidence that this is a great D before we put all our faith and trust in Ash?
#5 You sir, need to relax and take off your scarlet and gray blinders and look at it objectively. Yes, without a doubt the D is improved from last year. Is it a Great D? Not yet but it's getting better. Which is encouraging.
#6 I don't have kids but when I do and they come home with an A, sure I will reward them and acknowledge them doing well in school to an extent.
I will also make sure I don't over praise them so complacency doesn't set in and that they continue to work hard and want to do well.
There should be a 3rd option that states "Still waiting to determine"
No doubt it is improved and it appears we are gaining an identity on the defensive side of the ball. That being said we haven't played anybody yet so with that fact in mind, I will let you know after Nov 8th if I trust him or not.
You might say, "why not cheer for Notre Dame? They're ranked higher." If I ever cheer for Notre Dame: assume I am dead and an alien is using my corpse as a disguise, a la Edgar the Bug in Men in Black.
Just the thought of rooting for nd makes me throw up in my mouth and makes me feel a little less alive
No interest in Chris "The Sponge for attention" Clark
If Columbus weather didn't absolutely suck for about 75% of the year, I'd probably still live there...Such is life and I Love Phoenix!
