I started reading this and was getting confused unitl I realized it was about basketball.  Time to move on to the next article..hopefully about football.

I would rather see us get rid of divisions all together and just base everything on record.  That way the best 2 teams make it to the BIG championship game at the end of the season.

That is one of the most impressive highlight films I have seen from a LB in high school.  Bass: you are right, the kid is a monster truck!  It sounds like he is pretty sold on the good guys at least for now.  Let's hope he stays that way and ends up a Buckeye.  He could probably come in and start as a freshman if he does early enroll.

There is NO WAY I would allow Denard or Braxton to return kicks.  It just isn't worth risking the most important position (QB) and most talented player to gain a few yards on a couple kick offs.  I would rather see Braxton spending more time learning his read of the defense and imporve his passing.  Can anyone tell me if braxton is missing a lot of reads in the passing game or are our WR completely unable to get any seperation?  It seems like our whole offense would be so much more effective if we had a bit more passing.

Run Fido, don't you think PSU has the kind of offense that OSU's defense has played well against this year?  They remind me of MSU with more consistant playmakers.. But trust me, I still have a bad feeling in my stomache when it comes to this game.  I am by no means saying we will win this game, just that I am less nervous about it than I was b4 checking their schedule. lol

It would be an impressive win for PSU Ultrabuckeyhomer if they can get that score.  They haven't scored that many points all year against far weaker oponents.

I never said we couldn't lose this game or that PSU wasn't a decent team, just that they haven't played anyone yet for us to really know how talented they are. I am less worried than I was after seeing their schedule. ESPN makes it seem like Penn State is some unstoppable force.

I just looked at the Penn State schedule for this season.  I now question why it was that I was so worried about this game.  Has anyone seen the teams they have played?? I mean they haven't played ANYONE with talent this year except for Northwestern, if you want to even call them talented.  I am no longer as worried about this game as I was before i checked their schedule.  Why is everyone in the national press so high on Penn State?

Loss to Ohio

Loss to Virginia

Win against Navy

Win against Temple

Win against Illinois

Win against Northwestern

Win against Iowa

I have no idea what to expect against PSU.  Which team comes out for the Buckeyes this week?  Is it the offense we had against Nebraska or the defense we had last week? Who knows.

This has been reported on saying that they believe Michigan is in the lead for his services.  It is however at this point just speculation.

THis is starting to look to me like they were looking for an excuse to get out of thier commitment to OSU.  Maybe he wanted to look around at more schools before deciding.

I think the concern is that Anzalone wasn't alone when he met or took pictures with the creep.  So fans are waiting to see if other commits will leave over this too.

Comment 04 May 2012

Anzalone's dad made it pretty clear it was absolutely about Charles Waugh and the safety of their son in Columbus.  His quote is posted in my earlier post.

It seems pretty clear from Dr. Anzalone on SB Nation that his son's decomitting from OSU is directly related to the creepy Waugh situation.  This is a quote from Dr. Anzalone from SB Nation's article:

"You don't want your son to go to a place where there's a potential issue (like this)," Sal Anzalone said. "You expect the (football) staff to have some sort of control on how things are handled with recruits when they visit. This is ridiculous.

"I was concerned with what recruits do, and with them being allowed to visit these kind of places where it puts kids at risk. That's the issue. You entrust people (at the school) to do the right thing."
