He actually transferred out of Harrison.
Head vs heart doesn't often work out well for head. Just sayin'.
Someone has been paying attention, haha.
There's a pretty regular group text message happening.
Have I stated I'd eat my shoes in Gibson makes a visit? I'll need to be refreshed.
That grip started being lost the minute he flew to Stanford to camp to earn an offer from the Cardinal. That's beyond the scope of "normal" for a player 100-percent committed to a school.
There's not much to be 'reported' really. Van's mom sent a group text, I assume, to everyone who had reached out in her direction yesterday as they were at the airport, because I received the same text, verbatim, as Bill Kurelic (and I assume others) did.
From talking to people on OSU's side of things, they're very pleased with how it went, and they believe it's looking good for Ohio State. The question is: will he visit Georgia as they've tentatively planned or will Tennessee get another trip before he makes his decision? No more trips === very good for Ohio State.
Added Indiana prospects Austin Mack (WR/2016) and Auston Robertson (DE/2016)
You know, it's really about feel and it's individual for sure. If I am confident about someone, like REALLY confident, I share that info with the guys.
Josh Sweat is number one and deservedly so. He's not, in anyway typical. Also, remember these are projections, not necessarily a matter of where they are now.
Florida did not sign a LB in 2014 and before Baker didn't have one in their 2015 class either. That's attractive to anyone who wants to play early, and that's not being "afraid of competition," that just makes business sense.
Buckeyes likely to lose out on another in-state kid, James Daniels, sometime soon as well.
Titles, not having four-year scholarships maybe?
Removed, inadvertently left on the list from previous collecting.
Burrell is in the middle of an extensive travel/school visit tour and Harris has team camp, trying to work something out to be at OSU and at Michigan next weekend.
I am by no means a talent scout or even a true recruiting analyst, but I do think that in the right system, with the right focus and dedication to the position, Gibson could be a very accomplished college quarterback.
Family is vacationing in Florida, may not actually make a trip to Florida, but they're trying.
