The Best Damn Band in the Land didn't earn that moniker overnight. No, Ohio State's band has been wowing crowds with marching band innovation since at least the 1930s.

Despite losing famed director Jon Waters, the Best Damn Band in the Land marches onward, and their amazing halftime shows haven't halted in the slightest.

While it might come as a shock... these halftime performances aren't thrown together ad-hoc a few hours before kickoff. They are the product of relentless drilling and practicing. Today, the university released a short video to show some of the work that goes into these shows.

While it lacks the pizzazz of their normal halftime affairs, the video shows how lucky we are to cheer for a university with such an awesome, hard-working band.

Take a bow, TBDBITL. You've earned this one.
