They didn't call Tyvis Powell the best interview on the team for nothing.

I'm back, sans gallbladder, and we are joined by effervescent former Ohio State safety Tyvis Powell, who just sailed through his OSU Pro Day after performing very well at the NFL Combine. Powell is a confident, outspoken, and funny young man and we were fortunate to ask him about all the craziness about turning pro, Coach Mick's famed Valentine's Day workouts, his time at Ohio State and more.

We also have plenty of hoops talk. Are you excited about the NIT? Because the time is now to get excited about the NIT. Should Thad Matta shake up his coaching staff? And are you dreading — as Johnny is — that J.T. Barrett's underground lemur-smuggling operation will be uncovered this off-season?

Plus, we have our listeners' backs covered when it comes to answering all of their Ask Us Anything questions. The great chicken debate rages on and we got multiple "which is better" and "which is worse" questions, which are always fun. Remember, you can ask us anything via Twitter or the old-fashioned way, by email.

Here's how the show unfolded:

0:10- Johnny and I are not really hype about the NIT, but at least it serves a purpose and it's bonus basketball to help fight off the long off-season.

18:56- Tyvis Powell hops on the call and it's really hard to imagine this kid ever being depressed. Just a fun-loving guy with a lot to say about his draft prospects, his time at Ohio State and he even has fun with Urban Meyer.

31:12- Ask Us Anything talks a lot about food, especially chicken, pickles and cookies. But also football and hoops questions.

46:48- What campus landmark do you miss most (or will you miss most if it will soon be gone)?
