Word of the Day: Resplendent.

THE RIGHT GUARD. All I needed from Kevin Wilson and Ryan Day was to see one J.T. Barrett dropback to go along with Jones' pieces to put to bed any doubts I had about the local offense, which I predict will score no less than 70 points a game this year.

There is, however, one big question remaining.

From cleveland.com's No. 2 question remaining, which is mine:

How will right guard play out with five-star Wyatt Davis' arrival this summer?

*Announcer voice* Michael Jordan was the first true freshman to start along the Ohio State line since Orlando Pace. And even the father of the legendary crier Michael Jordan needed early enrollment to make that happen.

Demetrius Knox looked primed to cement the role before missing practice due to an ominous "academic issue." Between him, Matthew Burrell and Malcolm Pridgeon, there's no way Davis should walk into a starting role two months after arriving on campus. He's talented but there have been a lot more five-star recruits than Orlando Paces in the world.

GAMBLING ON AMATEUR ATHLETICS. The Las Vegas Super Book, whose ultimate goal is to lay odds that entice gambling on both teams, released its latest championship odds Monday.

Alabama, Florida State, the local team, and Southern California are your playoff favorites.

Hopefully, Michigan fans buy into the "we're reloading" hype. It will make Michigan's impending three-loss season that much more delicious.

JUST SOME MEN AND BOVINES. I saw a lot of things that can't be unseen on the Oval of Ohio State's campus. I never saw a cow.

As the saying goes: The only crazier guy than the one who first milked a cow was the first one willing to drink it.

NORWELL GETS PAID. The Carolina Panthers took a flier on Andrew Norwell as an undrafted free agent. Monday, he added a couple more million dollars to his net worth.

From profootballtalk.com:

The team announced that restricted free agent left guard Andrew Norwell had signed his tender, along with exclusive rights free agent center Tyler Larsen and punter Michael Palardy on the day they opened their offseason program.

Norwell had been tendered at the second-round level, as the Panthers were willing to pay him $2.746 million rather than risk losing the former undrafted rookie for nothing to save a million bucks.

Carolina owed that to Buckeye/Panther fans after letting Ted Ginn walk to a divisional rival.

GEOGRAPHY: IT'S HARD. Michigan held its annual attempt at a spring game on Saturday. Its spring isn't over there. The Wolverines still have three practices in Rome, thanks to Jim Harbaugh.

My former OSU roommate and Manchurian Michigan beat reporter Kyle Rowland threw a cold blanket on the dreams of a Michigan running back.

It also appears Harbaugh continues to mold a roster in his image:

Dinner for breakfast sounds like the power move du jour.
