K.J. Hill is warmed up to read the March 2nd 2016 Skull Session.

ICYMI: Urban Meyer looted Antjuan Simmons, an underrated  2017 three-star LB out of Ann Arbor, while Jim Harbaugh tanned his doughy body in Florida. (Here's the Lord of Whispers' analysis of the impact, and his insight into how it transpired.)

Imagine coming home from a vacation and your front door is busted open and your house is looted. That's how Harbaugh felt before clearing TSA. (This is more proof why I laugh at Wolverine fans who think we're shook about Harbaugh.)

CALL HIM YOUNG URBANTRADAMUS. Did y'all know Urban Meyer knows how to score the football? It would seem the NFL is growing wise to his prowess.

From cleveland.com:

Meyer didn't invent the spread and runs only one variation of it which, by the way, is more compatible to the NFL than others. Hal Mumme, the godfather of the Air Raid offense, Mike Leach and Art Briles also have made significant contributions and spawned numerous copycats.

But Meyer's stunning success -- three national titles and an .851 winning percentage -- has changed the way the game is played. No longer is the college landscape crowded with programs operating from traditional offenses.

"Heck, my sixth-grade son's team runs a spread offense," Seahawks general manager John Schneider said. "They are not learning how to play football the way we did. We are going through a generational shift."

As an Ohio State fan, I'm thankful Chip Kelly's hubris torpedoed his reign in Philadelphia. It equates to less interest in the coach we all know and love.

Meyer could no doubt succeed in the NFL—he's more adaptive than Kelly—but the last thing I want is some reclusive billionaire trying to save their shitty franchise by throwing generational money at Meyer.

Let's move on.

BOSA BACK AT NO. 1? After talk of Joey Bosa sliding by people who make a living off arbitrary rankings, it would seem his combine performance silenced some critics.

From dispatch.com:

WHO'S NO. 1: With no clear-cut quarterback at No. 1, speculation has centered around defensive end Joey Bosa from Ohio State and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil from Mississippi. There's little doubt Tunsil looked the part this weekend, measuring in at 6 feet 5, 310 pounds and looking light on his feet. Bosa, however, ran a slower-than-expected 4.86 seconds in the 40-yard dash. Don't be surprised to hear some other names join the conversation before April.

If Tennessee drafts Tunsil, there's no doubt in my mind the Browns will pass on Bosa and "live" to regret it for the next decade.

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER NO. 1 RANKING. When was the last time Michigan registered a relevant win over Ohio State? I don't remember.

Per Ohio State release:

For the first time in program history, the Ohio State women’s tennis team is ranked No. 1 in the ITA Rankings. The Buckeyes, 12-1 on the year, moved up from the No. 2 spot in last week’s rankings to the top overall spot in the poll released Tuesday.

The squad began the spring ranked 18th in the first two polls before moving to a then-program record 16th Jan. 27. A road win over Michigan, before victories against Fresno State and Vanderbilt at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship, moved the Buckeyes to sixth in the Feb. 10 poll, the first time the program was in the Top 10. A second win over defending NCAA champion Vanderbilt moved the Buckeyes to fifth nationally Feb. 17.

THE #MAROTTI EFFECT.  I know Mickey Marotti didn't train Buckeye draftees past the ultimate finish line, but these numbers from 247sports.com still speak to his power:

Darron Lee, LB, Ohio State (3-star in 2013 247Sports Composite)
Nike Combine 2012

HT/WT: 6-2/205 | 40: 4.68 | Shuttle: 4.53 | Vertical: 34.6
NFL Combine 2016
HT/WT: 6-1/232 | 40: 4.47 | Shuttle: 4.20 | Vertical: 35.5

Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State (4-star, No. 48 in 2013 247Sports Composite)
Nike Combine 2012
HT/WT: 6-0/185 | 40: 4.63 | Shuttle: 4.26 | Vertical: 32.2
NFL Combine 2016
HT/WT: 6-1/199 | 40: 4.40 | Shuttle: - | Vertical: -

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State (4-star, No. 69 in 2013 247Sports Composite)
Nike Combine 2012
HT/WT: 6-0/205 | 40: 4.42 | Shuttle: 4.16 | Vertical: 33.6
NFL Combine 2016
HT/WT: 6-0/225 | 40: 4.47 | Shuttle: - | Vertical: 32.5

Numbers like that are why I'm taking all bets on my 2016 Ohio State Buckeyes.
