Happy 5th of July, everyone! If you're reading this, it's likely you didn't get arrested last night, so pat yourself on the back for that achievement before you go running to the toilet to throw up last night's dinner. (I may be projecting a bit here, but let's hope not.)

11W WEEK IN REVIEW. Here's some stuff written this week by people more talented than myself:

BOSA COMING PENN STATE. PennLive.com is running a "Top 25 toughest players PSU will face this season" series. Ohio State currently has 10 on the list.

Joey Bosa is No. 2.

From Bob Flounders of PennLive.com:

What he does well: The 6-6, 275-pound Bosa, one of the most heralded recruits in the 2013 recruiting class, is the real deal and a game-wrecker from the edge rusher position. Not too many offensive tackles have an answer for Bosa's combination of strength and quickness in obvious passing situations.

About 2014: Bosa, an All-American and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, recorded 21 tackles for loss and 13.5 quarterback sacks and notched a tackle for loss in 14 consecutive games.

Against Penn State, with Ohio State clinging to a 31-24 lead in overtime at Beaver Stadium last fall, Bosa sacked Lions quarterback Christian Hackenberg on a fourth-and-five play to end the game. Bosa finished with 2.5 sacks in the contest.

After Terrelle Pryor and company lost to Penn State in Columbus in 2008, some dipshit Penn State fan at my friend's apartment complex blared a Penn State fight song bulhorn (complete with the Nittany Lion roar) until the wee hours of the morning.

Somebody threw a beer bottle through their window, but the psychological damage was already done. I still think about that damn bullhorn from time to time, and it still makes my blood boil. (Please don't tell me what this means about my mental health.)

I hope Bosa's sack haunts that bullhorn guy for the rest of his days. Here it is again, for posterity's sake:

LEGGO, YOUNG DIXON. Noah Brown was the hot WR name coming out of spring camp — BUT DON'T FORGET ABOUT MY BOY JOHNNY D. I may or may not have engaged in voodoo-like rituals throughout the month of June in an effort to heal his knees.

From Dan Escalona of RantSports.com:

While it remains unknown which quarterback will be named the starter, it’s a fact that whomever starts for Ohio State will have the knowledge that they can rely on the speedy receiver who can transform any short slant pass into an exhilarating footrace to the end zone. With returning receivers Thomas and Marshall still posing as major threats on the outside, it would be wise for the Buckeyes to play Dixon as a slot receiver.

The most exciting aspect that Dixon gives to the Ohio State offense is, similar to Marshall, versatility. He gives them the option of starting him as a receiver on the outside or in slot, using him out of the backfield, lining him up in the Wildcat and also as a kick/punt returner. Dixon’s enviable combination of speed and versatility gives Ohio State a wealth of options in utilizing his skills in a variety of different mediums.

Dixon may not be the best all-around player on the Buckeyes, but he has the potential to become one of their most dangerous and versatile offensive weapons. In Ohio State’s quest to defend their national title, he represents a formidable tool that promises to play a key role in that defense.

If worse comes to worst: Dixon can have my knee ligaments. That's how bad I want this dude to succeed at Ohio State.

GUESS THIS MEANS BUCKS AREN'T GOOD ANYMORE. Welp, the 2015 Buckeyes had a good run. Their season ended in disaster, however.

From FoxSports.com:

RJ Bell of Pregame.com notes that while the Buckeyes remain plus-375 to take home the title, the Golden Nugget lines for their games against Penn State, Michigan State and Michigan have all moved over the past week.

After opening as 19-point favorites against the Nittany Lions on Oct. 17, the Buckeyes are down to 18 because of lopsided betting.

Movement has been greater for the other two with the line for OSU-Michigan State on Nov. 21 moving 1.5 points to 12.5 and the contest a week later at Michigan moving from a 16-point spread to 13.

Just wait until that UM spread hits UM (+8) then pound the lights out of the Buckeyes. #JustMyTake
