Another non-Ohio State football weekend in the books, folks. We. Can. Do. This.

11W WEEK IN REVIEW. Here's stuff written this week by people more talented than me:

OSU COACHES HEADED TO BOCA RATON? We all know about satellite camps by now. Urban Meyer agrees they should be illegal, but it also looks like OSU coaches are about to participate in one at Florida Atlantic (h/t to Urbz4President) on June 17.

As a man bemused by the sight of millionaire southerners whining, I endorse this maneuver 100%. The only question I have about it: was Tuscaloosa High School unavailable!?

MR. OHIO STATE DOING MR. OHIO STATE THINGS. You guys, I think there's a reason Urban Meyer offered Danny Clark as a freshman:

It's a #blessing to know Ohio State is stacked at QB through at least the 2019 season.

MATTA'S JOB TOUGHER THAN URBAN'S? I agree with this #take.

From Doug Lesmerises of cleveland.com:

But when Meyer has a great young player, a three-year scholarship contract isn't a dream - it's a reality. When Joey Bosa opened eyes as a true freshman in 2013, Meyer knew he'd have the defensive end for 2014 and 2015. When Ezekiel Elliott ran through the postseason while helping lead the Buckeyes to a National Championship, Meyer didn't have to worry the sophomore would keep running straight into the draft.

[...]

But Russell's season was the clearest illustration yet for Matta of the "Great, but," part of college basketball coaching. I thought it happened in January, when it became clear that Russell was too good and he wouldn't be back for year two.

Tremendous player. Great. But ... there's no way he'll be back.

The true villain in this scenario is the NBA's age restriction, which was put in place by the NBA to protect NBA teams from themselves, because they couldn't stop giving millions of dollars to teenage busts.

It's a tough proposition to tackle: Do you recruit less talented players who are more likely to stay? The risk, as we saw last year, is an underwhelming class hogging up the scholarship cap.

I don't envy Matta in this regard, but I suppose this is just one of many reasons why he gets the big bucks.

SMITH HAS SUITORS. I'd like to see Devin Smith land on any of these teams, with the exception of the Dallas Cowboys, which is a clown cabal financed by a horny, megalomaniacal elf.

From Aaron Wilson of NationalFootballPost.com:

Ohio State wide receiver Devin Smith, one of the most athletic NFL draft prospects, has visited the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers, according to sources.

You might say, "What about the Cleveland Browns, DJ? You're a Browns fan, and they need wide receivers who would look out of place at a Little People convention."

I don't want the Browns to draft any Ohio State players this year, because I like all of them as people.

The Browns' best QB, after all, is either a guy who got cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or a guy who just got out of rehab. Devin Smith played with more talented QBs in high school. (Please do not Google my pre-draft #Manziel #hot #takes.)

The NFL Draft starts Thursday night, by the way. Expect Friday's Skull Session to come with free extra salt.

OSU IS A WOMEN'S ROWING SCHOOL, ACTUALLY. BREAKING: Michigan trails Ohio State.

That's dominance.

THOSE WMDs. The Fed's Cold War bunker had $4 billion in cash for after the apocalypse...  The Rat Paths of New York City... From @Propllrhead: Jake Kumerow's NFL Draft Dream Comes Full Circle... Nepal earthquake: Hundreds die, many feared trapped... Stephen Curry's rise.
