What's more shocking: Aaron Craft earning honors as the D-League's best defender or Patient 0 earning honors as the nation's best collegiate shooting guard? Could be a toss-up.

It's another big recruiting weekend for Ohio State, so who knows, maybe another future legend makes the best decision of his life today?

Reminder: It's Student Appreciation Day. If you think you're too hungover to make it, then bong some beer to get your winds back, because this is one of Cardale Jones' favorite times of the year. Do you really want to disappoint the Iron King?

BASEBALL BUCKS WALK-IT OFF (AGAIN). If the football team goes undefeated next season then the Year of Wario might be the best year in OSU athletics history.

If you're around the Discovery City today: The baseball team's second game against UNLV starts at 3:05.

LOOKIN' BACK AT 2010. I enjoyed this look back at Ohio State's 2010 recruiting class from 247sports.com:

Carlos Hyde: At one point it looked like Hyde was either going to play fullback in Columbus or at best, be a career back-up at running back. After an attitude change and a commitment to improving himself on and off the field, the Florida product became one of the best backs in the country and is set to be the starter for the San Francisco 49ers in his second year, after being selected in the second round of the NFL Draft last year. Hyde finished his Ohio State career with 3,198 rushing yards and 37 touchdowns on just 523 carries (6.1 average).

It's almost offensive to think Carlos Hyde could've just as easily ended up as a fat, out-of-shape fullback at Ohio State. I speak for all of us when I say, "I'm glad that the crack rock didn't crumble that way."

Roderick Smith: Most Ohio State fans would probably put Smith in the “bust” category, given he went from being the No. 45 player in the 247Sports Composite to being booted from the team in his senior year this past fall. That said, while Smith didn’t live up to his lofty rating out of high school, he did provide depth for the Buckeyes during his five years in Columbus, playing in 38 games and scoring 8 touchdowns.

TIL: Rod was short for Roderick. *clenches fist* If only he had gone by Roderick....

James Louis: As a 4-star prospect and the No. 130 overall player, Louis was supposed to bring some SEC speed to Columbus from Florida. After red-shirting during his first year as a Buckeye, Louis cited “family issues” as his reason for transferring before the 2011 season, and eventually landed at Florida International, but he never really materialized into the player he was capable of becoming.

I'll never consider James Louis a bust because he was Ohio State's best Tweeter for some time. If you didn't follow Keyboard James then you missed out on some premium #content.

BUCKS NEED A BIG YEAR FROM DIESEL. We've covered my worry about the interior defensive line before, but it was good to see Adolphus Washington understands the leap required of him.

From Bill Landis of cleveland.com:

The plan is for Washington to be Ohio State's Bennett in 2015.

"Definitely thinking about that. [...] I try to visualize all the stuff I could be doing this year. I'm definitely excited and I'm glad to be there."

Washington could've left after his junior season. It would've been viewed as a leap for a player who hasn't had much of a chance to show what he can do, but don't forget that Washington is a former five-star recruit and a high school All-American.

Let's hope he stays healthy.

IS THERE A SPATULA IN THE HOUSE? Looks like OSU blew away Virginia Tech's Kareem Felder during his Ohio State visit:

That CFP Trophy is worth 1,000 waterfall walls.

BECAUSE WHY NOT? Remember when people were foolish enough to doubt Ohio State? Those days were as comical as they were short.

I still can't believe they didn't see the writing on the wall after the Wisconsin game.
