Fact: Ohio State is undefeated since I added the "Get Dumped Then, [Opponent]" to Saturday Skull Session titles.

Today's slate isn't epic, but it does provide Ohio State (vs. Minnesota, 12 p.m. on ABC) a chance to move up in the polls.

Time (ET PM) Matchup Favorite TV Internet
12:00  No. 19 CLEMSON at No. 22 GEORGIA TECH CLEM (-2½) ESPN WatchESPN
3:30 No. 1 MISSISSIPPI ST at No. 5 ALABAMA BAMA (-9) CBS CBS Sports
3:30 No. 16 NEBRASKA at No. 20 WISCONSIN WISC (-6½) ABC WatchESPN
7:15 No. 9 AUBURN at No. 15  GEORGIA UGA (-2½) ESPN WatchESPN
8:00 No. 3 FLORIDA STATE at MIAMI (FL) FSU (-3½) ABC WatchESPN

I'll cheering hard for Mississippi State today. Even with a loss, I don't think the committee would drop the Bulldogs below Ohio State. A two-loss Alabama though? TO THE BACK OF THE BUS, BAMA.

Another game in which I have a lot of interest — other than seeing which of Nebraska or Wisconsin will face Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game — is Florida State's trip to Miami. There was some chatter last week Florida State could be an underdog in Coral Gables, but that's not the case. Still, 3½ points is an eyebrow-raising line to me.

But props to Florida State, which has made the country cheer for the Hurricanes, the Fighting Irish and Bobby Petrino this year. FSU's shitty-ness is truly something to behold.

THE GOPHER DOSSIER. So maybe (like me) you've been on an around-the-clock FourLoko I.V. drip since the MSU game and missed some of our Minnesota-centric content this week. Here's everything you need to get your mind right for the noon banger:

R U NOT ENTERTAINED? Still craving more words before kick-off? FINE:

PERTINENT HEISENBERG. Sorry, Minnesota, it's not about the money today.
