Zero couldn't have been an option? Confidence, you have none.
hmmmm i swore i had 0 as an option
Californian by birth, Marionaire by the Grace of President Warren G. Harding.
Thanks for the fix DJ
yeah that's my bad; i definitely wouldnt forget the most important option. TIL: "0" isnt a valid option.
0 wasn't an option, so i'm not voting.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I don't think any of us should. That will show him.
May you R.I.P. Otsego, but know this. Gaylord Rocks!
It worked. XD
Agreed. This is bullshit.

Sure, 0 could have been an option, but going unbeaten with Braxton would have been very difficult anyways. Without him, Im not sure how people are convinced that there is a likely (greater than 50%) chance of OSU going unbeaten. 1 loss is likely (at MSU), but I voted two (at MSU and at PSU). I think Navy will be hard as its JTs first start and VT will be a great challenge but at least thats at home. Im hopeful by the time MSU and PSU roll around JT is settled in, but I just think both of those are likely losses as things stand.
^^^ Nancy The Naysayer ^^^ ; )
We go undefeated in the regular season 100% of the time during the urban era and 67% of the time during the Braxton era
How's the arm doing?
Had a scary moment reaching for the mouse last night, MRI today. I'll let you know
We beat PSU by 40. No way we lose to them.
I abstain. Did anyone think we were going to go 12-0 in Urban's first year? We can do it again
No. But in hindsight, we had a laughable schedule, a returning quarterback, Zac Boren and Johnny Simon. This year? None of those.
What about a whole defensive line full of John Simons, Taylor Decker, and a stacked team at just about every position? We could still run the table with JT as long as he runs the system all the coaches have given him. He already has the timing and chemistry down with the offense, the guy has been taking reps with the 1's in the spring and fall.
John Simon the leader, not John Simon the talent.
Michael Bennett and Doran Grant are the closest thing we have to leaders on D
Not stopping until I have more Helmet Stickers than M Man
I think those guys are going to be awesome leaders on the D and JT will step up and be the leader he is on O and we will be just fine.
I think we were favored in every game we played, except possibly the trip to Wisconsin.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
We don't play Wisconsin this year in the regular season.
Edit: Oops. I now realize you meant the 2012 season. My apologies.
CAN we do it? Absolutely! Do I think it will happen? No. I said two losses, I hope the prove me wrong.
I am joining the "add 0" contingent. What the hell, at 30-1 I'm saying we go 15-0...dry goods for all!
Thank the Maker that I was born in Ohio, cradle of coaches, US Presidents, confederate-stomping Generals, and home of The Ohio State University Football Buckeyes!
0 it is. We will still have more talent than every team we play.
4 losses?! Who truly thinks that and why?
“Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.”

I almost cast mine for 4+ simply out of spite for not having 0 an option
I assume the case for 4 losses goes something like this:
1. The defense was a gigantic weak link a season ago, and it's unknown right now how much better it will be.
2. Last season's best defensive player is now a Pittsburgh Steeler.
3. Miller, Hyde, and 4/5 of the offensive line are now gone.
4 losses are only 2 more than we had in 2013. Downvote me all you want, but I don't think it's insane to be concerned that the team is going to take a hit from these departures.
Right but the two losses we had last year were due to a great season -- What I mean is we played great so we go an extra game (B1G Championship game) then in turn we were still perceived to be a good team so they put us in the Orange Bowl... If we have lets say two losses in the regular season we will not be in the B1G championship game and I would think we would get a favorable match up in a bowl game... The people voting 4 are basically assuming we lose 3 reg. season games and then the bowl game.... That just doesn't seem possible.
Where's the 0??????
My write-in cantidate is 0...Looks like he's gonna win the popular vote.
"I am El Guapo...the handsome one."
Zero. People are acting like it's the end of the world. The talent on this team is John Cooper'ish.
I thought the same thing... Why is 0 not an option?
Yup. Abstaining from the vote. These options are like choosing between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.....
I'm going with the majority, my write in is "0"!
I don't participate in polls.
Well it looks like we did it boys. We have a 0 in the poll

I said 2. I expect for there to be a 2012 like Purdue game where the team just doesnt show up due to its youth and loses (Cincinnati or Penn State come to mind) and a loss to Michigan State. All in all 10-2 would be amazing for a team this young that brings back nearly everyone next year. We'd probably be ranked 1 or 2 next preseason.
Voted 1. And I don't think it'll be the obvious MSU either. I'm actually thinking the team gels as the games pass and becomes better, and the loss actually happens early (too early perhaps) in the form of Navy, VT or UC.
Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nichts. Nie, Zip, etc.
Let's get it on!

For those of you who voted more than zero, Darron Lee has a message for you:
Y'all are so sleep on what's coming
Talent trumps all. I'm sorry but just like in 2012, people said OSU would lose 2-4 games. Sorry, OSU is simply better at every position than any team they face. Also have a better coaching staff. That's just the reality. O-1 losses. Only possible loss is MSU.
I've spent time in the South, I don't care what anybody says they don't have the passion for football that us Ohioans have.
Just watched an interview of Doran Grant talking about J.T. - and Doran just comes off as someone who won't mince words and talk B.S., so to hear him say that "J.T. is very accurate...can make the hard throws, the easy throws..." with confidence makes me feel even more excited for this season in an odd way. I think the poll should be who starts next year at QB after we win the natty with J.T.
"I don't apologize for anything. When I make a mistake, I take the blame and go on from there." - Woody Hayes
The big question I think is more about the defensive improvements rather than will J.T. Barrett play okay.
The D getting off the field on 3rd down will instantly make the offense better.
My expectations for making the playoff honestly haven't changed. Obviously I'm very recognizant of how much harder the journey will be without Brax on the field. Maybe I'm putting too much faith in Warriner's ability to get the offensive line rolling. What I won't back down on is my belief that our defense is going to play at a high level, and will be able to win us some games this year. Because we will undoubtedly need them to at some point throughout the season, probably a few times. The Va Tech game will more than likely play out like that, because they will be sound defensively. Penn State could play out the same as well. But the fact is we are still better than all but one team we will see in the Big Ten season. So I fully expect the trip to East Lansing to be played with everything at stake.
