PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Easy, BM. The real question is who finishes the season with a higher passer rating? Both are within a couple of points of each other.
Guiton would be at an advantage with that then. If OSU is leading in a big way, then the opponent will be at a disadvantage with not knowing what kind of play to expect on every down, thus making Guiton's job easier to operate.
He had a hell of start with insane passer rating to hold his ground for rest of the season.
"I don't motivate the players. I get them to motivate themselves. That's the only kind of motivation that's worth a damn." - Woody Hayes
And Braxton wouldn't have an advantage with finishing with more passing TDs? I guess it would probably surprise you that Braxton Miller actually has about an advantage in ratings after the Purdue game? Kenny G has a passer rating of 166.8 and BM has a rating of 175.9.
It's like 11W wants BM to be selected and chose a question that's heavily weighted in his favor. Kenny G needs to see the field quite a bunch to notch more TD passes than BM. And the only way Kenny G sees the field for extended periods of time is either A) OSU has a huge lead or B) BM is injured. If there is a huge lead, then BM has probably already passed a couple TDs.
Plus the offense will shut down some like we've seen after halftime with big leads. So expect lots more runs called in these situations, see the box score for passing attempts that both QBs had. BM only played in the first half, so they saw the field for roughly the same amount of time. BM had about twice as many passing attempts, ergo more chances that he'll score TDs.
At least going off of passer rating gives Kenny G a legitimate shot at coming out on top.
With the way KG keeps running TDs in at the goal line, I would bet the total TD numbers are going to be close. He's beating Brax 5 to 2 right now in Rushing TDs.
ILLNI, IND and a very crappy UM. How many of those games is Brax going to see the 3rd quarter?
Will be close but I'm gonna go with BM. Can ring them up pretty fast and has the benefit of the 1st team receiving corp.
Braxton gets more yards, but Kenny G should absolutely be 2nd team All-B1G.
"Sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you."
Brax, as he starts and has more opportunity.
Kenny G has, will have more TD's than Devin G though.

I mentioned this in the Game Blog yesterday but I think generic "OSU Quarterback" would be in the lead pack for the Heisman right now.
By Comparison here are the other front runner lines:
Also it should be noted that Manziel has a couple of L's on his stat line. But overall I think "OSU quarterback" would be within the top 3 of the voting.
As for the questions... I think its Braxton and I think he is going to put up HUGE numbers the final couple of games. I could easily see 20 more touchdowns throughout the rest of the season.
Sorry for the long post... I tried to make a table but apparently it didn't work out.
Really bummed we won't have a year of KG at QB. Never liked a backup more than him ...

I love that its a toss up along with our perfect record.
Part of my wants to believe that this is Urban showing off Kenny G to the scouts.
on an aside someone needs to start a Twitter trend with, #DraftKennyG
~Because we couldn't go for three~
I think Braxton and Kenny may potentially be pretty close in the TD category after the next 2 games, but X-Brax 360 pulls away after we play TSUN.
I actually think Kenny G gets significant playing time in TTUN game if (as I expect, because they are horrible) TTUN gets badly behind early. We're going to step on the heart (Hart?) and scoring will happen early and often.
1) Urban will want to reward Kenny for a number of reasons. Senior!
2) Save Brax for the Champ game (Sparty) and on further. It makes perfect sense.
3) Kenny G (Brax mightily improved in this area, but) reads short pass scenerios best and this is a killer for TTUN. There will be NO FOOT off the gas.
4) No bellyaching about us running up the score. Subs are in you kittens.
5) Recruiting: Lordy, Lordy, to beat them with Guiton in the drivers seat for a quarter or more? PRICELESS!!!
