PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
The last two options work for me.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
at least we could say wichita state went on a run for the tourny......it would make the loss hurt worse.....however i don't see them beating louisville........personally it is a debate of evil with boeheim, pitino, and belein......the one team i don't want winning is michigan even though it would be nice for a big ten team to win.......i want thad and our bucks to get the first title for the big ten in a while......i feel louisville will win it and should unless the officials the bucks had against wstate show up and don't allow louisville to play pressure defense like they did when ohio state played wstate in the elite 8
I would say "anyone but Michigan". I think Louisville will win, I think they'll beat WSU by 20 especially now with the Ware emotional factor playing in to things.
We should strive to keep thy name, of fair repute and spotless fame...
(Also, I'm not a dude)
I'm one who always pulls for the underdog unless the Buckeyes are the favorites. Wichita State for me.
"It's just another case of there you are". ~ Doc (1918-2012)
My National Champion preference, in order:
1. Wichita State
2. U of L
3. Syracuse - It should be noted that, as someone who attended UK for 3 years, I had U of L in this position until I saw a man's leg nearly come off, thus bumping the Cards up one spot.
4. Cancelation due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances
5. TSUN, but only if we later find out that Nik Stauskas accepted thousands of Canadian Loonie to play basketball there.
My sister will win nearly $500 if Louisville wins, so I'm rooting for them so she can win some cash. Otherwise I have absolutely no interest in who actually wins it.
Scratching my head here... How could ANY REAL BUCKEYE FAN vote for scUM to be his/her best option for BBall NC. I always tell people my 2 favorite teams are tOSU and whoever is beating scUM. I have never rooted for scUM and I say this with all sincerity I would rather put a gun to head and blow my brains out that root for that POS Athletic Program!
However, in my lifetime there have been a very instances where I did NOT root against scUM in a particular game because their win helped tOSU. I can count those times as being on 1 hand with the total being 3 times. First time in October of 2002 when Iowa played at scUM. If you remember tOSU didn't play the Brad Banks led Hawkeyes that season and I wanted to make sure that tOSU was sole champions of the B1G. The other 2X happened in this BBall season. Of course the IU @ scUM game and I actually didn't root against them when they played Kansas.
But alas we must have some scUM fans on this page as they know where the college athletics blog is online!
Because they wouldn't let me go for 3!

Completely agree. Any non-scUM fan please explain yourself. Because they're in the B1G is not a valid arguement. 12 effing percent ?!?! This is the biggest surprise I can ever remember in 11W polls.
And you guys wonder how we got Denard on the cover of NCAA '14. We have our ways.
Careful, your shoelaces.....

Hardly recognized him without his ginormous helmet.
I can understand wanting the Big Ten to finally win another title since MSU was the last to do it back in 2000, but do we really want UM to win? I mean they already think they're God's gift to football. Do we need them thinking the same about their basketball program?
I'm not really a conference solidarity guy anyway. Sure you want your conference to be strong and whatnot, but I can't stomach rooting for someone you strongly dislike just so you can puff out your chest and obnoxiously chant about your conference, a'la S-E-C.
I'm pulling for Louisville. I have several Kentucky fan friends who love to hate both Pitino and U of L. They will all just about die if Louisville wins it all.
I voted F), but wouldn't mind seeing Louisville win it. It'd be a great moment to see that Ware kid hold the trophy.
Not as great as one of our boys, but you get the picture.
While I will never advocate rooting for TTUN to win anything anywhere at any time, I would offer this contrarian viewpoint: while our rivalry in football has been the focus of our mutual distaste for many, many years, it's always felt that the rivalry in basketball has been, well, less rival-ous. So perhaps them doing so well in the tournament, along with the Trey Burke story (hard not to like that Columbus kid, really), will spark a renewed passion for dismantle each other on the hardwood. Splitting the series this season was certainly a good start, too.
Just a thought - and again, I never said we should root for them, and I voted "I stopped caring when..." above.

209 people aren't Buckeye fans.
It goes against my nature to vote for Michigan and I fully expect some downvotes but... I really like Trey Burke's game and I think TH3 is fun to watch when he is on. I happen to like Louisville and Pitino so I wouldn't mind seeing them win.
I agree with you, and think Trey is a stud, but I'd rather jam an icepick through my eye socket than watch scUM win a national title.
