Eh I agree but still having a shot at the regular season title hunt is pretty awesome.......i wish there was a "we finally got a win in assembly hall" option

Beating them in Bloomington on senior night and ruining their opportunity to clinch ranks right under a victory over _ichigan in November.

having it on senior night was beautiful. Seems like a cocky move by them to hold a celebration like senior night after a big game (not sure if they do that every year). But spoiling it made it so much sweeter.

I heard earlier that they do it every year, and it is a pretty big deal; Seniors have proposed to their girls there, and similar things...AMAZINGLY all of us have been watching Buckeye and B1G bball for years, and no one has ever heard of this.

Those IU tears taste just as good this morning as it did last night. Jokes aside, it was amazing how clutch just about every kid that touched the floor was. So many big defensive stop, quick hustle plays for rebounds and loose balls, and they kept pulling away on the offensive end. One of the more well-rounded Buckeye hoops games I've seen in a long time.

I agree. Especially with both Shannon Scott and Aaron Craft on the floor, we should be pushing transition opportunities. It worked wonders last night. Big defense leading to big offense.

Too many times, it seems we get bogged down in half court. Like when Ross was on the court, no one seemed to move (especially him) without the ball, leading to a shot clock violation.

OSU staying Alive in the B1G title hunt

That it was a balanced team effort

The win kept IU from clinching the outright title against OSU

I went with balanced team effort because that could be a sign of things to come. This is something we've been waiting on for awhile and, like last year, could be a sign of things to come...crossing fingers at least.

Wow, we certainly needed an all of the above option. That said, my 2 favorite outcomes in college basketball happened last night. Ohio State won, and IU with Tom Crean lost. Any day that happens is a great day!!!

I don't think this team will dominate all season like it did last year; however, I think they will be more dangerous as a team than last year come March.

I took these excerpts from a one of my posts in November (I don't know how to embed it.) I think they hold up, except for maybe a more consistent balanced offensive attack. 2 & 3 seem to be very true. I just wish they ran more because they have an extremely athletic team that can do some damage in March.

Reasons for this? 1) Hopefully, a more balanced attack than "crawl down the court, pass the ball to Sully, if that fails, give it to Deshaun and let him play 5v1." I believe Lenzelle and Craft are much better offensive players than people give them credit for, they just weren't really needed much in previous years. 2) A much faster lineup that will be able to run teams out of the gym during a strenuous tournament. Conditioning is a huge factor come March and teams that can run will definitely benefit. 3) A brutal conference schedule which will only help them grow as a team.

I don't know if this team will be better than last year, but I think they will be a tougher matchup because I feel the makeup of this team will "blend" better together by year end.
