Will Ohio State get their defensive problems fixed this year?

The defense will look "fixed" against Illinois, Penn State, Wisconsin and Purdon't. M!chigan will break it again.

Seriously, this D is good against traditional offenses, like the first four teams I mentioned, while they are bad against spread teams, like scUM.

Heh. I have to say putting this poll question up so close to that terrible performance by the D may be skewing the results a bit. :-)

Will they play like the OSU defenses we're used to seeing? No, but they won't be this bad again either. Will get a tune-up, but not a complete fix.

This defense can't even stop Indiana. I hate to say it, but Denard Robinson is going to shred us.

This D will be good enough to allow less points than the other D, but it won't be fixed in my opinion.

Man anybody who claims this D can be fixed this year is dilusional. Seriously you give us a traditional ground and pound team and we will look like the 85 Bears, but against any spread team that can throw the ball we will get schooled!! Seriously our defense is terrible!!! All this preseason hype about John Simon and Shazier and they have looked nothing but average. Indiana whooped our defense!! Indiana!!!

I say no because Meyer and Withers clearly don't know how to stop a bunch of women from Indiana. Although 34 against their best offense in a long time isn't so bad. Yeah, the phantom 30 yards for the hell of it, the onside kick they didn't recover don't count. Not in the film room when they quit. Quiting is on Meyer. Think the Senator can give up 49 to them?

we have enough players to keep indiana under 40 pts... if the coaches expect players to be held accountable then they should be held accountable 2... fickell and withers have not deserved a paycheck
