Choices Both will make the team Shugarts makes the team Sweat makes the team Cleveland has a team? Vote Comments Show All Comments DefendOhio 5 May 2012, 9:56 am Why even make this a poll if you're just trying to make fun of Cleveland? DMcDougal24 5 May 2012, 10:19 am bengal-loving staff. It's a shame, but apparently they have forgotten that they are still the Bengals and they will never win anything =D Jeff Beck 5 May 2012, 12:05 pm Wasn't trying to make fun of Cleveland at all. Actually I'm a Cleveland Browns fan myself. But one has to laugh at their ineptitude from time to time. PWLafferty. TBD... 5 May 2012, 3:17 pm Got your back on this, Jeff. I'm from Cleveland, and I'd die for the Tribe, Browns, or Cavs, but there's no way you get through all of it without making fun of yourself sometimes. That being said, Shugarts for 2013 Pro Bowl should be an option... "I'm up there with Chris and Dave Pass, getting ready to broadcast that game, and that band came out of that tunnel, I was wiping tears out of my eyes and all the memories came back." ~Urban Meyer NoVA Buckeye 5 May 2012, 11:05 am cleveland browns: 5 NFL Championships cincinnati bengals: 0 AFL/Super Bowl Championships The offseason begins when your season ends. Even then there are no days off. MackRM408 5 May 2012, 2:42 pm The Cleveland Browns have 0 NFL championships. They have only been in existance since 1999 and have 0 playoff wins cbusbuckeye 5 May 2012, 2:49 pm ^this. How that stadium is filled to capacity every week is beyond me DefendOhio 5 May 2012, 3:40 pm Our stadium is filled every week because we have some of the best fans in the NFL. Fickle Cintucky fans wouldn't know what that's about. Big Swede 5 May 2012, 3:43 pm I really hope none of the people bashing the Browns are fans of the Bengals. Fact is the Browns have won a playoff game more recently than the Bengals. cbusbuckeye 5 May 2012, 4:38 pm You might have some of the best fans but you also have most of the worst fans in the NFL http://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/wtf_is_wrong_with_cleveland_fans/... DMcDougal24 5 May 2012, 5:54 pm BleacherReport generally sucks, but this is a nice compilation of eyewitness reports. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/521905-eight-year-old-jets-fan-tackle... Big Swede 5 May 2012, 3:31 pm The Cleveland Browns have 0 NFL championships. They have only been in existance since 1999 and have 0 playoff wins The amount of factual errors in this statement is astounding. PWLafferty. TBD... 6 May 2012, 12:56 am Yeah what the hell is this guy talking about? "I'm up there with Chris and Dave Pass, getting ready to broadcast that game, and that band came out of that tunnel, I was wiping tears out of my eyes and all the memories came back." ~Urban Meyer GlueFingers Lavelli 5 May 2012, 2:37 pm I think Shugarts would have a shot with the terrible lack of depth on he cleveland o-line. Esp if he were able to move inside to guard. Mitch Schwartz is going to be a mauler at RT. Not sure if Steinbach will ever be the same, so maybe JB Falsestarts will have a shot. Not sure about Sweat, i like him, but not sure he's much more than a practice squad guy. Hope I'm wrong on him. Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball. cbusbuckeye 5 May 2012, 2:48 pm @NOVA note that those are NFL Championships, not Superbowls. The Browns haven't been close to relevant in the last 40 years buckeyechad 5 May 2012, 3:46 pm Looks like we got a old fashioned Ohio pro sport cripple fight on our hands. rdubs 5 May 2012, 6:28 pm Yeah, but Blue Jackets................ I mean well the Clippers are pretty good!! GlueFingers Lavelli 6 May 2012, 1:29 am The Difference between Cleveland and Cincitucky is if the Bengals moved out of town, they wouldn't have gotten their team back. Cleveland fans will always show up and support whatever mess the ownership provides. Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball. GlueFingers Lavelli 6 May 2012, 1:36 am The Bengals are a product of Paul Browns bitterness, and for that reason they won't ever be champions. They were born out of spite. The Browns best years were the early ones, but at least they have that. We can agree the 80's were a good time for both teams, but heartbreaking. The fumble, the drive... and the 49ers. It's crazy to think the state of Ohio was just a few wins away from multiple consecutive superbowl wins. Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball. BrewstersMillions 6 May 2012, 8:38 am God I love being a Bears fan. Mainly because...well everything about them is awesome. But on a more serious note its actually really cool to only have one team in the State. Baseball has shown me how annoying a split city can be, let alone a split state but thankfully there is only one team in Chicago football to reign supreme. All Hail King Jay!
