You might remember the story of the worst Ohioan, an Ontario woman who plundered so many toys from a child's grave she was eventually caught by a hidden camera.

Today, that woman, Frieda K. Shade, got her day in court. In an unsurprising twist, she is still an awful human being unwilling to accept the responsibility for her actions.

From the nation's paper of record, The Marion Star:

Frieda Kay Shade, the woman accused of taking a stuffed animal from an infant's grave in an Ontario cemetery, stood in Mansfield Municipal Court this morning and did not show emotion.

Moments before, Shade entered an Alford plea with her attorney by her side in Judge Jerry Ault's courtroom, entering the plea to one count of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

An Alford plea is entered as part of a plea bargain by a criminal defendant who denies committing the crime or who does not actually admit his guilt.

(You can read more about the Alford plea here.)

Shame on the Richland county prosecutor, James J. Mayer, for even accepting a deal that allowed Ms. Shade to enter anything but an earnest guilty plea. SHE WAS CAUGHT TOY-HANDED AFTER LOOTING A CHILD'S GRAVE.

I'm not normally about Old Testament punishment, but this woman clearly has no remorse, and should be crushed by judge.
