Bo Jordan became the second Buckeye to advance to Friday night's NCAA semifinals as he earned a second victory over Iowa's No. 11 Alex Meyer by a score of 4-3.

Jordan advanced to the quarterfinals with a major decision and 10-4 decision over returning All-American Lelund Weatherspoon of Iowa State, but faced his toughest test to this point in the tournament in Meyer.

Jordan previously defeated Meyer 3-2 in the dual meet in January when Jordan was returning from time off due to injury. Meyer held a late 3-2 lead over Jordan, but Jordan earned a late reversal and whittled the riding time down under a minute to earn the one point victory.

Jordan will face Cornell's No. 2 seeded Brian Realbuto, who advanced to the semifinals with a first period pin over Illinois' Zac Brunson. Arizona State's undefeated freshman Zahid Valencia will face Penn State's No. 5 Mark Hall in a battle of elite freshmen in the top semifinal.

The semifinals will air live on ESPN tonight at 8 p.m.
