Kyle Snyder's hot streak continued Friday in Las Vegas as the Ohio State wrestler topped Ukraine's Pavlo Oliinyk, 2-1, in the Round of 32 at the 2015 World Championships.

Seeded 15th at 97kg, Snyder upset World No. 11 Oliinyk, the bronze medalist at the 2013 World Wrestling Championships and will face No. 8 Radoslaw Baran of Poland in the Round of 16.

Snyder, who is redshirting this year as a sophomore for Ohio State as he attempts to make the 2016 Summer Olympic team for the United States, finished second at the NCAA Championships in March, helping Ohio State to the team championship for the first time in program history. In July, he rolled to a gold at 97kg at the Pan Am Games.

Former Buckeye grappler Reece Humphrey, wrestling at 61kg for Team USA, lost his Round of 32 match to Mongolia's Nomin Batbold, 6-1.
