The wrestling Buckeyes won their first ever team championship Saturday, topping Iowa and finishing with 102.0 team points. The Hawkeyes were runners up with 84.0 points.
Stud senior Logan Stieber won his fourth consecutive individual national title and second in the 141-pound weight class by defeating Mitchell Port of Edinboro, 11-5, in the final match of the night Saturday. Redshirt freshman Nathan Tomasello also won an individual title in the 125-pound class.
It'll be the second championship celebration at Ohio State in three months, after the football team won the inaugural College Football Playoff in January.
The celebration for the Buckeye wrestling team begins 11 a.m. Saturday and is set to be held at St. John Arena.
