The Ohio State women's basketball team will host the University of Miami in the 2016 ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Dec. 1 at the Schottenstein Center; time to be announced at a later date.
The Buckeyes are 2-0 against the Hurricanes, winning in 1982 at the Lady Brahman Christmas Classic and in 1986 at the Orange Bowl Invitational.
The Hurricanes went 24-9 last year and finished fifth in the ACC after a 10-6 conference record. They were eliminated in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament by South Dakota State. They return six of its top seven scorers.
The Buckeyes are 2-9 all-time in the annual challenge. They lost, 75-72, last year to Notre Dame.
