After signing former OSU great Donte Whitner to a lucrative free-agent deal, the Browns have agreed to terms with former JUCO Player of the Year, Silver Bullet and NFC champion Larry Grant.

The Browns will be Grant's fourth team since 2008.

In other "former Buckeyes in the NFL" scuttle, Pittsburgh cornerback Ike Taylor was quoted this week as saying that Santonio Holmes, notable for his game-winning end zone grab in Super Bowl XLIII, is angling for a return to the Steel City (as is imported Bengal linebacker James Harrison, another former Steeler great). While the Steelers front office typically does not retread players they've released or traded, I'd love to see the Rooneys welcome Holmes back into the fold. Had he not gotten pinched for toking the reefer, he'd probably still be there, I'd think.
