You cannot stop Nick Schilkey. You can only hope to contain him. For the third time this season, and the second week in a row, the Ohio State forward has been named one of the Big Ten’s Stars of the Week.

Schilkey takes the First Star after a five point series against Wisconsin. He scored the opening goal in Friday’s contest as well as the extra attacker tally which sent the game to overtime and ensured a conference point for the Buckeyes.

The junior was also a key figure in Saturday’s victory, setting up two goals and scoring late in the second period to tie the game at 4-4. In three games since he joined Matt Weis and Freddy Gerard, Schilkey has posted a 3-6--9 stat line.

Schilkey leads Ohio State in goals (17), points (35), and power play goals (6) this year. With a handful of games yet to play in 2015-16, he has already set new career best marks in all offensive categories. Last Saturday’s win was the Marysville, Michigan native’s one hundredth collegiate game.

You can next see Schilkey and the hockey Bucks in action this weekend. The team treks north to play Michigan on Friday. Then the series returns to Columbus as OSU hosts the Wolverines at Nationwide Arena.

The Second and Third Star winners are Michigan’s Kyle Connor (I think the Big Ten misspelled "Alex Kile") and Wisconsin's Cameron Hughes. Connor had three points in the Wolverines’ split with Minnesota. Hughes collected four points in the Badgers' series against Ohio State.
