Twitter Reactions to National Signing Day 2017 & Ohio State's Elite Recruiting Class

If you haven't heard, Ohio State's 2017 recruiting class was pretty good.

The Buckeyes had most loose ends tied heading into signing day. Still, it's an exciting day for players, coaches, fans and fax machines when everything becomes officially official.

This is Mark Pantoni's Christmas.

If Buckeye fans are looking for someone to thank for this ridiculous recruiting hall, it's him. The work him and his staff do behind the scenes is remarkable. From pouring over hours of tape to make the list of initial targets to hosting them on their recruiting trips to receiving their Letters of Intent on signing day – it's all Pantoni and his staff.

And now, they're on to 2018 (as if they haven't been working on that class for months already).

As if all that talent wasn't enough, the Buckeyes got even more loaded today as four-star offensive lineman Thayer Munford officially committed to the Scarlet and Gray.

It wasn't all smiles for Ohio State, however. The Buckeyes desperately wanted the services of Marvin Wilson, a big, five-star defensive tackle out of Bellaire, Texas. Wilson, however, committed to Florida State.

Buckeye signees Jeffrey Okudah and Baron Browning, both Texas natives, were unenthused, Tweeting a few since-deleted sad gifs.

Believe it or not, not every player will commit to Ohio State, but I'm sure Meyer and co. were more than happy with their class as is.

On to 2018...
