As it turns out, Ezekiel Elliott was worthy of the No. 4 overall pick in the 2016 draft.

The Dallas Cowboys running back has started all 12 games this season. The Cowboys are 11-1, and Elliott is a big part in that.

The former Ohio State star has 263 rushes for a league-leading 1,285 yards (4.9 average) and 12 touchdowns. Oh, and he also has 28 receptions for 322 yards (11.5 average) and one touchdown.

Unsurprisingly, Elliott and his fellow rookie phenom backfield partner, quarterback Dak Prescott, lead voting for the 2017 Pro Bowl.

From the NFL:

PLAYER TEAM POSITION VOTES
EZEKIEL ELLIOTT COWBOYS RB 681,361
DAK PRESCOTT COWBOYS QB 607,621
TOM BRADY PATRIOTS QB 519,210
ANTONIO BROWN STEELERS WR 508,913
DEREK CARR RAIDERS QB 500,770

Elliott and the Cowboys are next in action Sunday when they head to New Jersey to take on the New York Giants at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

The NFL Pro Bowl is Sunday, Jan. 29th at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
