Folks, it's true: No. 2 Ohio State escaped a viper pit in East Lansing with a one-point against an unranked team carrying seven losses. Normally, this would be cause for consternation in Columbus.

However, there are bigger fish to fry.

No. 3 Michigan — a ranking it will maintain only if it beats Indiana in Ann Arbor — comes to town Nov. 26th. ESPN College GameDay will be in town. It will, as the kids say, be lit.

Which is why Urban Meyer's team moved on quickly with a postgame celebration, led by freshman tight end A.J. Alexander, to open rivalry week.

Michigan at Ohio State kicks off next Saturday at 12 p.m. ET on ABC.
