Twitter Reactions: A Win is a Win is a Win, Unless it's Against Northwestern at Home

Ohio State piled up on Northwestern to seal the win.

Ohio State came into the game against the Northwestern Wildcats hoping for a bit of a rebound offensively against an overmatched opponent. They did not get that, because instead the incredibly Scandinavian Clayton Thorson hooked up with the considerably less Scandinavian Austin Carr, controlled the clock, and generally outplayed J.T. Barrett and company for oh, I don't know, like 95% of the game.

But that 5% was all that mattered, and dammit, sometimes that's enough to get silly on Twitter. Despite a sub-par game, this was a decidedly better than average week for Ohio State Twitter.

THE PLAYERS

Sometimes people can't tell the difference between a win and a loss. Players don't typically have that problem, and I always appreciate some positivity after tough games.

THE ALUMNI

Like players, except not playing for Ohio State anymore and way more willing to tell people how pissed they are on Twitter.

CASEY FLOWERS, AMERICAN HERO

Look, screw anybody who says otherwise: you eat those damn Cheetos, my dude. Don't let anybody tell you when and how you can chill on your break. You do you, Casey Flowers.

THE REST

ERICK SMITH HAS ALL EIGHT GYM BADGES AND HE'S HEADED FOR THE INDIGO PLATEAU TWEET OF THE WEEK

This week was pretty meh, but hey: Dubgate week is upon us and 11W is undefeated in games in which we encourage people to party hard. Chin up, Buckeyes. Let's kill it.
