Ohio State Quarterback J.T. Barrett Named Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week

After a performance that included 318 total yards and a game-winning touchdown pass in overtime, Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was named Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. 

Barrett shared the honor with Northwestern running back Justin Jackson.

Barrett and the Buckeyes scored a 30-23 overtime win at Wisconsin on Saturday thanks in large part to the quarterback's play in the second half. 

In the game, he broke Braxton Miller's school record for touchdowns responsible for as Barrett accounted for three during the game. Barrett had touchdown runs of 1 and 8 yards before his 7-yard touchdown pass to Noah Brown in overtime proved to be the game-winner.

Barrett was 17-for-29 passing for 226 yards with one touchdown and one interception against the Badgers. Additionally, he carried it 21 times for 92 yards and the two touchdowns.

This is Barrett's sixth weekly offensive award from the Big Ten and his 13th overall honor. He won Big Ten Freshman of the Week seven times during the 2014 season.
