The Buckeyes watched the first week of B1G conference play from their couches.

Northwestern was the only B1G West team that took an L - at the hands of fellow Westie Nebraska - while Iowa took advantage of Rutgers letting it hang around too long and Wisconsin gave Michigan State a 60-minute noogie. Over on the East Side (Ed. East Siiiide) Michigan made quick work of Penn State.

Only the Spartans and Badgers had any impact on this week's national rankings. While Wisconsin was moving on up from its previous #11 spot, its former coach Bret Bielema and his current team were tumbling following a neutral site humbling at the hands of Texas A&M. Georgia, Florida and LSU rounded out the ranked losers in a week that saw four ranked SEC teams lose which just goes to show you how tough the SEC iswharblewharblerahsdafojiweifjewoijfwaidahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Alabama hangs onto the #1 spot in the AP Poll after blanking Nick Saban's alma mater. Louisville grabbed a few more votes to slightly narrow the distance between the Cardinals and the Buckeyes.

The rest of the poll is below. Ohio State hosts Chris Ash and unranked Rutgers Saturday for Homecoming.
